Sweet dreams
September 10, 2011

The bag arrived safe and sound. It's exactly what I expected and my expectations were high. I've had a similar Northface bag for ten years that I call my Dream Machine. It's durable, lightweight and warm. This one has the opposite zip for my lady...though the zip design does NOT allow us to zip together, which is a bummer. It's well insulated, it's got the new-fangled inner pocket and I suspect she will have many nights of sweet dreams in her 20-degree bag as I have in mine. This bag, along with a ring and my love were offered to her in my proposal. She said "Yes!"

Pros: Lasts forever, Cons: can't zip together with my similar 10 yearold bag.

Great Product!
October 13, 2010

This is the first real sleeping bag I bought for myself. I'm not an extreme camper, I just wanted something durable and comfortable and warm. This is the perfect bag. It fits in the small traveling bag, I carried it around Kruger Park in South Africa and it was great, light and not too bulky. For your average use, I would definitely recommend this bag. It's warm, but not too hot, so good for most seasons.

Wife Loves the sleeping bag
January 18, 2012

Purchased this sleeping bag for the wife and she loves it, its very warm and soft and perfect for compressing into your pack for those backpacking trips. This is definitely one of the best synthetic bags you can get and it may not be as warm as a down bag, but for the quality and price its a steal. It was at least 30 bucks cheaper than anywhere else online. Love buying things from altrec and the best part is when i call customer service the people are so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Would buy everything from altrec every day if i could.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value, Performance

The cats meow has been around forever and for good reason...reliable warmth and durability, at an affordable price.

Great bag, too narrow
February 15, 2010

I am 5'6" and normally wear women's small shirts. This bag is great in all ways and really worth the money, however, it was still too narrow in the shoulders to be comfortable. I'll trade this in on the same bag, but in a men's regular.

Great Bag but...
December 05, 2010

The only thing keeping it from a perfect score is the size when it is stuffed. This sleeping bag does not compress well. I bought it for my wife and it takes up more space compressed than my extra large bag from a similar company/style. Other than the stuff size everything about it is high quality North Face and the wife loves it. We replaced a retail store bought North Face bag and the quality difference is huge between this bag and the NF bags under 100$.

Pros: Build quality, Great value

Looking forward to spring camping

I have not yet slept outside with this but the fit is such that it should move with me as I adjust positions. I am not a big person so I would wonder how someone overweight would be comfortable.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value
