I spent the week in Tahoe, knee deep in snow, sledding, chasing kids, building snowmen, etc. These boots were awesome! No water seepage, feet were toasty and warm the entire time. I forgot I was in the snow. After the trip, I ordered some for my daughter, who used a different boot and was miserable.

These boots are not only light weight and comfortable, but they are warm and easy to walk and drive in. I like the style and recommend them for any outdoor/indoor winter activity. Great boot for the money, it was well spent. People have asked me how I like them so I share my positive feedback with them.

Great snow boots. Durable, comfortable and keep your feet dry and warm even in a blizzard. The lip on the heel works great with my snow shoes, too.

Wore them for the first time snow shoeing on a 5 mile trek and they worked great. Only issue was they were a little stiff on the shin, but considering they were straight out of the box, I didn't think that was a big deal. They worked great for after ski boots and around town and they look cool too!

I love the boots. Comfy, warm, great on snow. My feet never got cold and that says a lot. I was caught unprepared and borrowed my daughter-in-laws boots. They were brand new. I loved the boots and decided to keep them and get her another pair, but I can't find the same color.

These boots are the most warm boots I've ever purchased. And in terms of comfort, I was able to wear them virtually out-of-the-box. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I'm now looking forward to this winter.

I was concerned these boots would be heavy and need getting used to...they are somewhat heavy but they were comfortable to walk after the first mile! Initially order 0.5 size bigger but ended up having to change to a full 1 size bigger.

these are fantastic boots - i was worried about the sizing, but they fit super snugly around my feet! it took a couple days to break them in well, but it's absolutely worth it! make sure you wear quality socks :) i'd definitely buy another pair

I had a blast this weekend snowshoeing with my new Chilkats boots. I agree with one reviewer that they are a little stiff on top right now, but I'm sure they will soften up with age. I wore them all around Tahoe this weekend, out to dinner, foodshopping, as well as the snowshoeing and could not be more pleased with the warmth, the styling and the cost. Great buy.

to stay warm. These boots blend in with jeans or cargo pants, so they're as good for walking to the city bus stop as they are for marching through the snow. They make such a difference on these subzero Minnesota mornings. I can't wait to take them snowshoeing.

These boots are great! They keep your feet incredibly warm. I do suggest the following: take a half size bigger than you would normally, and allow quite a bit of time to wear them in. Other than that, they are a truly great buy. I definitely recommend them.

Sally - 2008-01-14warm, sturdy, great with my snowshoes but rubbed my shins sore
I guess I need to wear them in, but overall I truly love these boots. I feel safe in them, great sole and grip, snowshoeing is a treat now with that lip on the back. Before these I was forever hitching up the back strap of my snowshoe. Not anymore! They look great on as well, can wear them out and not feel I"m wearing unfeminine boots.

They definatley keep my feet warm but the top just rubs so bad on my legs. Bought my mother the same pair and it does it to her too. I actually have burns on my legs from them. I love the insulation but overall Im disappointed, just not comfortable to wear.

They were a bit stiff around the top of the boot at first, but now they are super comfy.
But, walking in the real cold, on ice/snow, the bottom of my feet feel cold.
