Great Coats
November 15, 2011

We purchase North Face system jackets for all of our bus drivers. This order was for a couple of new employees and we were out of medium-size ladies jackets. We have over 45 of these jackets. They are waterproof, as long as you launder them correctly. Do not use fabric softner. The jackets work really well for us because we can wear just the liner or double up with the shell for maximum warmth. In the mountains, we get over 300" of snow each winter so a good jacket is essential. Some of the jackets have lasted us more than 5-7 years. We swear by North Face and thanks Altrec for the quick shipping.

The jacket is warm and stylish. It's a 3-in-1. You can wear it separately at the different temperatures. It's good for skiing and any other winter sport.

Great Jacket
February 18, 2012

I found the fit to be perfect. I was looking for a slim-fitting jacket that would also keep me warm (I am 5'7" 105 lbs). I usually find that most jackets are way too big or way too short for me, but this one was nice. I got an xsmall and I have enough room for a sweatshirt underneath if it is a really cold day (I am not using this for anything colder than 20 F). I like that the jacket zips up to cover your mouth to give your face protection if it is windy out, my only complaint is that I wish the neck region had a little more feels a little constrained around your face when the jacket is zipped all the way to the top with a sweatshirt underneath. Otherwise, great jacket.

Great Purchase
March 30, 2012

Bought this coat to be versatile enough for work and play. So far it hasn't failed me. I'm a small person and this jacket fits well, but is tailored for the female figure. I love that the inside layer zips out, so now I have a ski jacket, a rain jacket, and a warm waterproof work jacket.

great jacket

I bought this jacket for skiing. It was everything I was looking for in a ski jacket. I ordered the wrong size. Sending it back was easy. I got a refund like they said. I ordered another one that fits.

Not a bad jacket, I just don't like the way it fits (snug in some areas, loose in others), and I don't think it is as warm as some of the other North Face jackets. Additionally, it can get dirty very quickly - I literally took it out of the package, tried it on, and it instantly looked like it had been worn for week. I'd go for another model vs. this one.

Cute and Cozy!
January 11, 2012

I received this jacket as a Christmas Gift - I love the color (I got the white/teal). The best part of it by far is the zip-out micro down liner! I love the versatility!

Beautiful, lightweight jacket
February 09, 2012

Bought this jacket for myself in size Small--I am 5'2" and 125 lbs. However, the sleeves were too long by about 4" (I typically wear a size 4 petite) . However, my 15 year old daughter who is 5'6" and 139 lbs. and quite slim, put it on--she typically wears a Medium--and this Small fit just fine. The sleeves were the perfect length on her. We got the Moonlight Ivory and it's BEAUTIFUL! She LOVES it, so I'm giving it to her. She was a bit concerned that it doesn't seem very warm for a ski jacket, despite the inner jacket (which is on the thin side) and outer shell, so she'll definitely need to wear layers underneath when skiing. The layers will need to be thin or else it will be too snug. We'll see how warm it is on the ski slope. But, it'll be fine on cold wintry days going to and from high school on the bus.
