This jacket is nice, very comfortable, and warm. I was out in the mid 30 degrees wearing just a long arm T-shirt inside and this hoodie Denali keeps me warm enough. However, it does not protect me from the wind. I like the color black since it goes with everything. I also love the extra security pocket. This jacket is good for me in the fall and the spring.

The Northface is very comfortable. But if you get the white one, it can get dirty quick. If you wear it, you will not feel the wind and you will also stay warm all day.

This is a great jacket! I have a basic Denali fleece without an hood and I have been coveting this hoodie for over a year and finally asked for it for Christmas. This is a great jacket that is true to size, I've found it's a bit roomier than the hood-less Denali, but I wouldn't size up or down as it's nice to be able to layer underneath. This jacket keeps you nice and warm and the hood is an added bonus and is perfect for rainy Seattle days. The quality of the North Face is outstanding and Altrec is a wonderful company to order form!

Say what you will about the Denali, it is rugged,dependable, and will keep you warm. The hood, pit zips, and multiple pockets makes a true tour de force. Oh, wife loves it.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter who is a P. E. teacher and she loves it! We live in California in the Bay Area and the weather lately has been unpredictable. Mornings can be very chilly and can warm up later in the afternoon. She spends most of her days outdoors and she stays pretty comfortable wearing it most of the day. It fits great and is light weight. She said this is a jacket that she'll be able to wear for many years. The only issue is the high price. Other than that I would consider buying one for myself.

I am very pleased with this purchase! It is very warm for the cold mornings here in the Southeast. The quality of The North Face products is very high indeed. It is also very comfortable. My only gripe is that the sleeves are a tiny bit too long for a women's jacket, however, it is not a deal breaker. It is a perfect jacket for the fall!

I've seen so many people wearing this jacket and the reviews were all favorable so I thought it was a sure thing. But its really bulky for my needs. Fits big, I was swimming in a size small. Also the elastic wrist cuffs may be good for keeping the warmth in but I felt they were bothersome. It is however made well and would probably last a lifetime.

Have looked at this jacket for a long time after seeing it on others and thinking how good it looks, so finally purchased, no remorse here. It is more than I wanted to spend on a jacket but I think it will be worth it, fits great, is right warmth for most days in central New Jersey winter as well as cooler evenings in Spring and Fall. So it will see 3 seasons of use! Large fits well with some space for a lighter sweatshirt underneath, which is what I wanted (I am 5'7", 160 lbs)

Bought this for my 13 y.o. very lanky daughter. 5'2" and thin frame. Very pleased with the fit. We got a women's small....long enough in the arms and waist, and not too baggy but does have room to layer underneath. Warm enough for our moderate Va weather. Much better price here than in local stores.

I have had this jacket for about a month now and absolutely love it. I have owned a denali with out a hood for about two years and I love that one. However, having the hood makes a big difference.

I'm 5' 4/135 lbs and the medium jacket fits nicely and gives me enough room to wear what I would like underneath. It's kept me warm on cool mornings and at night games. I like the abrasion resistance patches on the arms and shoulders...I've had other fleece jackets that wear out easily, but the patches have helped lengthen the life of the jacket. I was hesitant to spend this much on a jacket, but I think it was well worth the money spent.

Although I think The North Face overall is overpriced, I have to admit I'm glad I paid the extra money and went with the Denali rather than another brand. The fleece is warm yet breathable. I think it runs a little big. If you want to be able to comfortably wear a sweatshirt under it, stick with your true size. But, if you want it to be form-fitting, I would consider sizing down. It's loose on me if I'm just wearing a t-shirt/long-sleeved-shirt. Overall, I think it's a great investment.

This is the 3rd Denali I have & I love it! The hood on this one is perfect. I can layer it with a sweatshirt & it keeps me warm on some pretty cold days. It seems lightweight, like a typical fleece jacket, but it's not. I could get by with this jacket in 40 degree weather for sure! Don't size up! It's roomy!!

TNF denali hoodie in black is hard to find and very popular denali jacket . Fits true to size , looks nice and stylish . Warm enough for fall and early winter . Can be used as layers under outer shells . The denali hoodie is wamer and slightly larger then the denali jacket without the hood . I think it is slightly overpriced. I highly recommend this item.

I bought this jacket for my 20 year old daughter to wear in San Diego. I was unsure about the color but she loves it. It's more red than pink. The comfort level is unbeatable. She hasn't taken it off since removing it from the box. Definitely a good buy.

I have never owned the North Face jacket before so it took me a long time to decide if I should get one. I finally decided to get this one and Denali Thermal. I actually liked this one better but it felt thin and a little lightweight. I can probably wear this during fall but not when it's snowing. For the price, I expected a thicker and nicer jacket. I ordered a medium and it was too big for me and I weight 152lbs. Will give it another chance by ordering a smaller and different color though.

I live in Iowa will wear this often in the spring and fall when I don't want a heavy coat. It is warm, but not heavy. It keeps a light wind out, but the air does get through if the wind is strong.

This jacket has been great during the season between fall and winter in the midatlantic region where I live. The fleece lined hood is a nice feature when the temperature drops at night. Size medium fits my 5'6" , 150 lb frame really well.

I bought the loganberry red jacket in M when I usually S in all my clothing. It was the right size for layering and still a loose feel. It wouldn't be warm enough for the winter if it was worn alone. The color is more brighter than as pictured.

Like most maybe I have too many coats, but this one is suberb. The fit, soft fleece, and the hood makes it my first pick. I regret that I purchased my Denali Jacket at a local chain sports store, then found it for 1/2 the price at Altrec! With their price I could buy 2 more for my girls and got mine back to wear :)

This was the best money spent. I have always loved North Face Denali fleece jackets, but the hooded one is even better. I wear mine all the time. Now I can stay warm, and have a hood for those windy, rainy, snowy, or just plain cold days ! Highly recommend this product. You won't regret it. Totally worth the money !

I've seen many folks with the original Denali, and was psyched to find that it also came with a hood. I general purchase things in large and after reading a few reviews though that it would fit well. After getting it however I decided a size up would be more comfortable. At any rate I love this coat!

This jacket has a great fit- not bulky, but more shape fitting. Very sharp looking. Not quite as warm as I would have expected for the price. I have to wear long sleeve layers when taking my dog for a walk, but the hood is great for trapping the heat in and for keeping my ears warm. Overall, the jacket's a keeper!

Ever since I knew about the brand The Northface, I always wanted the Denali Hoodie in Black. I finally did when Altrec.com was offering a hard to believe deal on this great jacket. The jacket offers enough warmth and versatility for Maryland winters.

The fleece is a great outerwear for spring and fall seasons. Provides the extra warmth without feeling heavy and weigh down. Has a good fit and looks nice when I wear it. Can also layer underneath and still move comfortably around. Only downside is that it is not as windproof.

I bought this coat initially because I thought it would be a perfect "transitioning into fall/winter" hiking coat. However I love it so much I am wearing it everywhere, not just on the trails. I would recommend this coat to anyone looking for a great, warm, versatile coat. FYI - the sizing seems to run a little bigger than the "hood free" jackets so just keep that in mind when buying.

The Denali Hoodie is awesome! Just as warm as the regular Denali but the hood is key. I also like that the outside of hood is not made of fleece so it is great in the snow and rain!
