And I just keep re-buying them, since they fit over everything and are practically indestructible. I have the black one with hood and without, etc. The newest jacket I bought at Altrec, the sort of poppy pink color, is a little differently constructed - it's a hair lighter, but it's also more comfortable. They've put this cushy fleece in the sleeves and it's sort of heavenly. Since I live in Nashville where it doesn't often get below freezing, I like the lighter weight, but be advised there's not a lot of wind protection in this jacket so be prepared to wear something under it if it's really cold and/or super windy. Seems like they've changed out the zipper pull tabs, too, which is great - mine used to fall off nearly immediately!

I needed a Fall jacket. This is my first Northface fleece. It fits well. The length is perfect for my height. I am 5' 4" and 131 lbs. The sleeves are a little long but works well for layering. A light sweater works great. I chose the black color and it fits well with jeans, cords and khakis. I already own a Northface rain jacket and while not a zip in the Denali fits perfectly under it. I am trying to walk more and the jacket is warm and comfortable for cool Fall weather. The jacket was a great value and will last for many years. My daughter has a Denali she has worn for 5+ years and it's still one of her favorites.

I previously purchased two North Face Denali jackets from altrec.com and was so excited at the fit, color, and style of both jackets! When I was ready to purchase a couple more in more current colors of course I came back. I still love the new jackets, I purchased the Bittersweet Brown and the Pink and the colors are wonderful. The only drawback with the jackets is they appear to be cut or styled differently. I am 5'10" and 145 lbs and have worn mediums in the past but with these two jackets I wish I had ordered a size up as they are a bit short in the length of the torso. I'm going to make do because I still love them both, just an interesting difference in the fit from past years.

I purchased this jacket for my mother who was in need of a jacket for the fall weather and she loves it! I purchased the purple North Face jacket for her and I currently have the Black Denali NF jacket and love it. I was really happy with how comfortable it was to wear and how warm it is! My mother always says how warm it was, especially when it was windy outside when we were watching the road race! I would suggest it to anyone! Great fit and value!

The reviews on this item are confusing, with some saying it is a newer design which runs smaller than the old one and some saying it ran large and roomy. Taking that into account, I decided to go with my actual size per the size chart. It was way too big. I am 5'2", 118 lbs, 34B and a small was really huge and unflattering. I am returning it to order an XS, hopefully that works better.

I got this jacket for my daughter. She's 20 and this is her third North Face Denali. The fit is true and the look is stylish. It is warm enough for where she is attending college (central Texas). It is also warm enough for milder days in Illinois. It's not a winter coat, but is sufficient for moderate temperatures.

I am very impressed with this jacket. It has been years since I purchased a fleece jacket so I had no idea what the new ones would be like. I always worry about sizes since I am petite. However, North Face brand has always been my favorite since it last forever and fits well. I ordered a small and still have a little room for a sweater underneath but doesn't look BIG on me. The color black is always safe and doesn't show dirt which is why I always choose this color. Overall this jacket has become my favorite! Best purchase this fall.

Warm but not windproof

I love my denali jacket. It's easy to wear and really comfortable. It's really warm but it's not windproof so you'll need a sweatshirt underneath for windy days.

I already had one Denali jacket and loved it so much that I bought a second. Its a great jacket for late fall. I love that they changed the zipper pulls to more of a heavy string. The old cloth ones always untied and ended up coming off some zippers.

Excellent fleece for everyday use from walking the dog to going out in town for errands. Not a technical fleece but perfect for daily use. Keeps you warm and keeps wind out of the chest area where it hits you hardest. Highly recommend.

I love this Women's Denali Jacket! I am about 5'4 and 95 pounds and I bought a small just because I would be able to wear sweaters or hoodies inside and because the XS sleeves are a tad short. This jacket works well if you wear a sweatshirt or a hoodie inside. It keeps you nice and warm if you do. If you wear the jacket with a t-shirt, it does not have the full capacity of keeping you warm. The jacket protects against the wind if it is not intense wind. I would definitely recommend buying this if you don't live in an extremely cold area.

I normally wear a medium but the small fit really well in the store. I went ahead and ordered small, but really should have ordered a medium. Though not fitted, this jacket is so much heavy fleece that a large fits like a small medium. Be sure to order larger! It would be hot unless the temps are freezing.

I got this jacket about 2 weeks ago and I am in love with this jacket! I got the heather gray and its so comfortable and well worth the cost. I am a college student and this jacket keeps me warm when walking around campus! I got an x-small and its a little big on me but North Face jackets are suppose to be a little loose. This coat is nice for cold, dry weather. I bought it on the larger side to fit a sweatshirt underneath for hoody use. They last forever, my last one was a hand-me-down and held up great. Comes in a bunch of colors. Northface makes good stuff and it shows in the price but it's worth it.

My mom loved the gift. She is about 5'2" and 160 lbs. The length fits her perfectly but it was a little snug zipping up lol. She decided to keep the medium in women's since the arms on the large were too long and loose.

A lot of people have North Faces, so I decided to try one out for a semi-winter coat. Texas doesn't get cold that often but it's nice for traveling up north and for the very rare days that it is chilly here. I advise that if you are going to wear this jacket alone with no layers, then you should get one size smaller. I am 5'5 and about 135lbs so I would normally wear a medium. However when I got it in the mail, it was very big, so I had to return it and get a small (the return process is a pain though). Using Altrec, I received it in a week with standard shipping and it came in perfect condition. I plan on shopping at this website more often.

Stylish warm jacket

I wasn't sure what to expect from this jacket - if it would be too thin or too thick based on other reviews. To my mind, it's just the right thickness - good for cold and windy days, good protection from the wind, nice soft material. I got the medium, which felt true to size. The jacket is well-made and sturdy, and one senses that it'll last a long time. It's a bit pricey, but if it lasts and holds its look, then it's a good buy.

The jacket is great. It's well made, lightweight and warm. The fabric is very soft and easy to care for. This is the second North Face jacket I bought for my daughter, and I only needed to get her another one because the first one is getting too small. These jackets last and last, the old one still looks great.

I bought this Jacket for my mom for her birthday and she loves it! It kept her warm in a chilly and humid weather. Material feels soft and durable. The color (R Premiere Purple) is great too, it's fun and yet not too loud. I will be looking for a shell to pair with this jacket for rain and wind protection in a harsh winter, but I think she is happy with it at the moment!

Great jacket for those cool or cold days that aren't too windy. I'm 5'2" 105lb and got an x-small; there's still space to wear a layer underneath but that usually isn't necessary. It was 65 degrees outside today and I wore only a t-shirt underneath the fleece and was still super warm.

Good combination of warmth and quality

I purchased this jacket for my daughter for Christmas. She was dying for a Northface Jacket and I really didn't understand what all the fuss was about until the jacket came in the mail. Very nice, I was impressed with the quality of the jacket and the warmth that it provided
