I was looking for high quality jacket which will keep me very warm and I have read through many of the reviews here. I finally decided to buy one and I am not at all disappointed. The jacket is very warm and suitable for winter. The only downside for me is the collar which rises quite high and make it a bi uncomfortable when you move. However, overall a great jacket!

Simply the best jackets!!!. I tried it while skiing in the Rocky Mountains and I also tried during a short stay in the windy city during March and it was worth every cent. It´s a must!!!

This is one of the better jackets that is made by The North Face. It's kept me super warm and super dry, even on the coldest of days I don't need to wear more than a long sleeved t-shirt under the jacket. I don't look like the Michelin Man in it either. It's not as puffy as their other jackets.
Mary - 2008-02-13Perfect for year round as this is so versatile
The designers of this jacket thought of everything. In the cold environment, you have the down inner jacket, since wrist bands, hem cinchcord to keep out the cold. In the rain, a very generous hood that covers right over your eyes so you are shielded from the rain and don't get completely soaked in the face. Excellent waterproof shell for the treacherous rainy weather. In the spring, use just the shell as a breathable windbreaker. The inner down jacket is amazingly lightweight but will keep you nice and toasty. I wore it in mid 30 degree weather with just a t-shirt underneath and was completely warm and comfortable. I've not been able to achieve this type of comfort level without looking like a giant marshmellow. And with the fluffy jacket, you'll be warm but sacrifice mobility! It's no wonder this jacket was completely out of stock at ALL 4 California Northface retail stores. I finally was able to order this online with Altrec and it is THE BEST jacket out there for all year long. The jacket is pricey but well worth every penny. This is the only jacket I'll ever need.

Bought this jacket for a Floridian who can't stand cold weather! Its very warm and useful for when cold and rainy, or just rainy. I don't know how I lived without one!!

Great quality. The cut of the jacket is very flattering. Only change would be to add zippers on inside jacket shoulders so it could be a vest as well - making it truly a 3 in 1.

I like this coat. Had to get a size bigger than normal though as it ran small. It has the curvy parts to it, so it doesn't make me feel like a guy. Definitely warm enough. Would recommend it to anyone.

The jacket is even better than I thought! I love the shades of brown and pink! It's incredibly warm, yet stylish - it's not the typical poofy winter jacket - it has great lines. Not only is it warm, but also waterproof so I can wear it whether it's snowing, raining, or windy and if I get too warm, I take off the top layer - highly recommend it!

I love my jacket. I like that it's non-bulky, and the warmest jacket I've ever owned. I live where it's below-zero for at least 2 - 3 three months of the year. Now I have no problem digging my car out of the snow now that I have this warm jacket! The zip-out liner will be nice for the spring too.

Bought this jacket for my long days at the barn and I love it. It is lightweight and very warm. Really nicely made. I haven't been able to find anything that would keep me warm after 5 hours outdoors, but this one does it. I will be buying the men's Triclimate for my husband.

This jacket would have been awesome except that it does run small & I had to return it. I typically wear XS but needed a small because the XS was too short. The color option (winter white & brown) was great as well. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, versatile jacket, however get a size larger than you typically would.
