Great Outdoor Boots
February 26, 2013
I've purchased two pairs of these boots over the past ten years and loved each pair. The zip-on feature makes them easier to take on and off in bulky winter gear. While the first pair eventually cracked and needed to be replaced, they lasted almost seven years, which I believe was well worth the money considering their usage. Would certainly not hesitate to purchase again.
Pros: comfortable, easy on/off, Cons: plastic toe susceptible to cracking over timeBad Purchase

These boots were difficult to get on. The side zipper is very short. Because the boots are not light in weight it cost $12.00 to return, which the distributor did not pay for. I would not do business with this company again.
Love these boots!

I wear an 8.5 usually, but ordered a 9 in these. I borrowed an older pair of the exact same boot in 8.5, but this new pair must run a bit smaller. The sole is very cushiony, and the boot is REALLY warm (feels great in Jackson Hole). The traction on snow & ice is excellent, too. The boot is a bit stiff, which can be uncomfortable on my ankle bone after a while, but they should break in nicely. Based on previous North Face boots, this pair should last a number of years and just get better with time. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is because my heel slips, while the toe bed is more snug. May need to try different inserts (normal-narrow foot). Otherwise, the boot is perfect! My other brands are nice (esp. like Sorel), but this North Face boot is definitely my go go boot! My favorite aspect is the easy on pull tab & side zip! LOVE not having laces!!!
Pros: no laces! The North Face Women's Greenland Zip II Boots Photo
