Not your mother's rain coat, fully waterproof and breathable, The North Face Grace Jacket for Women is your next completely reliable, everyday jacket for the rainy season. With removable hood and waist belt, you can protect yourself from the elements and walk down the street with just the right about of city style.
Great Northwest city coat
This is the perfect NW coat. I have a previous Northface version of the coat (a raincoat), but the arms are too tight for easy layering.
This coat is waterproof , warm and relatively lightweight. I bought it specifically for traveling, but I've been wearing everyday to work since I bought it a month ago and I've been warm and dry in wind, snow, sleet and rain.
Warm & Comfy!
I bought this because it is wind and waterproof, but not too bulky. I was hoping it would keep me warm like my other down NF jackets and it does! It is definitely wind proof! It is true to size and has a great A-line shape, but it comes in a little at the waist to keep a nice feminine shape. This also allows the belt to be tied without creating bulk in the middle. The insulated version does not have a belt buckle and is long enough to tie. The arms are a little bit longer than my other NF jackets, but the zippered sleeve is a nice feature for adjustments. I bought the New Taupe Plaid, which is a nice army green/dark olive color with black plaid (a nice alternative to black and the plaid does not take away from the coat color). I am short (5'1"), so the length hits me at my knees, which is fine as it keeps me warmer. The bottom part of the coat is wide enough to walk comfortably without having to unzip from the bottom or undo the snap that keeps the back slit closed. Overrall, this is a great coat for warmth, protection from the elements, and is really comfortable to wear without the bulk.

Love this coat!
I live in NYC and have been wearing this coat non-stop since I bought it. It's extremely warm, very stylish and not bulky at all. It has a great fit and runs true to size. The only negative is that the belt should be a little longer so that you can tie it if you want (without having to use the buckle).
I get lots of compliments on this coat!

Flattering AND practical
This jacket is soooooo cute on. Very flattering and fitted cut and the cinched belt keeps everything looking neat. Enough insulation to provide warmth without bulk. The lining inside the pockets is so soft and cuddly. The two-way zipper at the bottom is handy as is the hood and the sleeved have a slightly bell shape at the end which is attractive. The vintage white is actually a cream and black plaid that is really cute and different. I'm a size 6-8 in a fitted jacket and in most north face coats I take a small but this one runs more tailored and the medium fit perfect. Perfect for a chilly rainy/snowy day. But when the single-digit temperature chicago winter breaks out I'll probably end up in my north face nuptse or metropolis down coats. I would highly recommend the insulated Grace jacket!!

water proof and warm
Like the jacket but should have ordered a medium instead of a small. I am a size 6 and the small is a bit tight in the shoulders. Waist seems a little high for my torso. Great rain coat for winters in the southeast where it is cool and rainy for most of the winter.
The jacket is very stylish
Yes I agree the belt is way to small, I am unable to tie it without using the buckle.
