I bought my Khumbu Fleece Jacket by North Face because I thought it was an exceptional deal. I was right. When I received it, and tried it on I found it to be comfortable and warm; as well as a nice color. Because of my size the arms are a little long, but I like it so much, I am unwillling to part with it. I rate the comfort, durability and quality of my Khumbu Fleece as excellent.

After reading other reviews I decided to purchase a size small. I am 5'9, 136 lbs, 34B, and it fits perfectly. Sleeves are just right and I love that it's slim fitting. The fleece is very soft and warm, and I've received many compliments. I also love that the pockets are large and have zip closures and there's a piece of fabric under the zipper so that it doesn't scratch my chin when I have it zipped all the way up. I bought the lighter two-tone blue color and it is gorgeous.

I can't believe I found this jacket for such a great price. It's the perfect NF Fleece. It is a thicker fleece, not too warm that it's only for winter, but warm enough for year round use. The fit is true to size. I can wear it over other base layers for super warmth or alone on cool nights on the boat or around the campfire.

I am tall and have long arms and have a hard time finding jackets that fit. This fleece is perfect for me. Cute fit, very warm and great colors! I would highly recommend this fleece to anyone.

I just recieved my jacket and I love it. I love the warmth but the fact that its not bulky is great. After reading some of the reviews I was concerned about the color. Its true its not black but more of a charcoal gray. I LOVE the color. Im actually glad its not black! I highly recomend this jacket!

I usually take a large in fleece jackets and they fit well, this jacket was a little big big. It fits nice with a hooded sweatshirt underneath but the sleeves are a little long. I would order a medium if I would get another one which is possible because it is very nice and warm and good quality.

We purchased 4 of these jackets - 2 women and 2 mens. We have absolutely fallen in love with the flexibility and warmth of these jackets. We have worn them on the slopes and we have worn them for mountain hikes and on every occasion someone is saying wow!! what a buy for this high quality jacket. I am 5'4" and weigh 175 lbs. and I purchased the ladies XL and it is a perfect fit in every way. I even have room to wiggle around and not feel pressed. We all recommend the Rhumbu jacket, it has the same amount of fleece, (300) as the Denali and a much better buy, plus it will zip into other jacket components for an even warmer experience. You will not be disappointed in any way.

i love this fleece. super warm and comfy. fits true to size. i am about 120 punds and got a medium but i like my stuff a little roomy and it fit perfectly. I was worrried about the quality because of the price. it was 100% authentic.

I have not wore it out in the cold yet , b/c its still summer but when i tried it on i absolutely loved it . It's sooo soft , and it fits soo well . I cant wait to wear it in cold weather .

I own this jacket in several colors. It is a fantastic jacket, keeps you warm, great for layering, excellent shape and easy to care for. This is one of the best jackets by North face. I also own the Denali and prefer this one by far. It is a nicer fit for women too.

This is the second Khumbu fleece that I have bought - I love them because they fit so well - are stretchy and can fit tight instead of big and loose - they are warm and can be worn just by themselves with a t-shirt underneath - look really nice with slacks or jeans - I have wide shoulders and long arms and both the X-large and large can fit me - because they stretch to my body shape!!! Have had the first one for years and still looks just like it did when I bought it! It is not too light nor too heavy - perfect fleece weight!

I actually tried many of the northface jackets in the store, I feel their Khumbu fleece is the warmest! I am 5'2, 102lbs, size S is a little bit big on me, and the sleeves are longer than other brands clothes; however, XS is too small for me, making no room to wear anything underneath this jacket. I love the material, thickest fleece I have ever worn. I also purchased one for my husband, he is 170lbs, chest 40", waist 35", men's size M fits him fine.

I was shopping for a fleece jacket 2 years ago and looked at The North Face Khumbu, but I did not buy it and instead bought a cheap knock-off. I really regret not buying the Khumbu 2 years ago! This is everything I have ever wanted in a jacket! It's very well made, warm, comfortable, has inner and outer pockets, and fits perfectly. I'm 5'4", 130lbs, usually wear size 8-10 and purchased a Medium in the black/black. The color is more of a charcoal gray, but I knew that prior to purchasing. The sleeve is a little long, but I like it that way (It goes to my knuckles when my arm is stretched out). The length of the jacket is perfect, it hits just below my hip. The shape is very flattering and feminine. Overall, if you are looking for the perfect fleece jacket, you will not be disappointed with this! You get what you pay for and The North Face Khumbu is worth every penny, don't waste your money buying another brand that isn't going to last.

this is my second khumbu.love my fleece! i wish they had more colors though..wanna have a brown one also. Love the fit , not too big. keeps you nice and cozy...my white one does get dirty alot....so dont get white color...

My Khumbu NorthFace jacket is best. This jacket keeps me warm when the wind is blowing and on the cold winter nights. When it is around 20 - 30 degrees, I am the warmest person out of all my friends. I would highly recommend this jacket.

I'm 5'5" and 115lbs, and the small fit perfectly. The jacket provides a good amount of warmth without being too bulky - would be the perfect everday fall/spring jacket going in or out of winter. Love the colors that it comes in (I purchased it in white).

I love this jacket... it's very warm, and comfortable! I like the color "snow cone red" it sort of looks pink, which is great because I love pink, but if you're looking for a "fire engine" type red, this may not be for you... it's a bright reddish pink, and I love it!!!

The North Face women's khumbu fleece jacket I purchased from altrec.com is a good buy! I love the way it fits me! I've been a big fan of North Face ever since but I have difficulties finding the right fit (I don't really have the perfect figure!) but since I found altrec.com I now can enjoy wearing North Face jackets I love! And altrec.com gives me a lot of styles to choose from! The khumbu fleece jacket I purchased is just perfect as an everyday jacket! I live in California but go to school in Washington state- this jacket is perfect for both climates! In CA it keeps me warm on those summer nights, and in Washington it's a great fall-time jacket or for layering in the winter. It's SO soft, fits really true to size (I'm 5'7, 120 lbs. and a small is perfect). I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone! North Face never lets me down.

This fleece keeps me so warm during the fall and winter months. I had one in black and I had to order more because of the warmth it provides me. I'm cold blooded so I like how soft and thick the fleece is. I also like how you can dress it up or also look casual for other occasions. The only thing I would recommend is not to put in the dryer at all!! - it will pill a lot. I have it in black and white/gray combo. Can't go wrong with this fleece.

I absolutely love this fleece. It keeps me warm as well as protects from the wind. I would definitely recommend this to all women, especially when it just starts to get cold...but I would probably wear it all winter because it works fine for me.

I recently purchased two Khumbu jackets - as my husband and I just relocated to North Pole, AK, the value of layering is starting to sink in! I am using one of the jackets as a liner inside a waterproof North Face jacket I already have - and the other one makes a great fleece for around the house/out in the yard. It's not as heavy as the Denali, for example, but I know I'm going to get a lot of use out of them! The feel and weight are great; they do run a bit big, though. I am 5'2'' and got a small, as I figured I'd be layering underneath. There is PLENTY of room to left wear other things below it!

Have owned several of these jackets and the quality is always top notch. From the stitching to the zip this jacket oozes quality and style. The fit is comfortable with enough room to move comfortably,but not too loose that you get gaping neck line with resulting loss of warmth.The colours on the website were true to life and the purple/grey combination has drawn many compliments. All in all what I have come to expect from all my North Face purchases.

Perfect for Fall weather. I usually wear a small in clothing. I bought the medium in black here so I can wear a thick hoodie underneath and wear it baggy. With the medium, there is still room. Very durable and thick fleece, comparabe to the Denali.

Bought this for my daughter and she loves it!! The fit was true to size. The jacket was warmer then expected from a fleece jacket. It was the only coat she used the whole winter and being from the midwest it can get pretty cold.

It's a thick and warm fleece, polartec 300. Works great for layering or a stand alone on mild days when the wind isn't howling If you're between size, go down on this. it's slim fitting but definitely not tight

Bought two khumbus for my daughter and myself. I am 5'6'', 150lbs and got a medium. The fit is just nice. The tip fit featured on the left of this page really helps in deciding if you are between sizes. My 10 years old daughter just loves her new khumbu very much. Got her a size L. Size runs big as compared to the Mossbud softshell of the same size. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase. My first time purchase with Altrec and will definitely return for more.

I live in louisiana so i have yet to wear it because it is ALWAYS hot and we do not have much of a fall-winter-spring. ALL seasons are pretty much the same - except summer goes to EXTREME HEAT- ANYWAY it does sporadically get cold during winter SO i think this jacket will come in handy and if I go on any trips more north it will be nice to wear. It feels super soft and comfortable - the arms are a bit long so I may could have gotten away with a small instead of the medium, but the medium will just have to do. ANYWAY- cant wait to wear it - GET COLD LOUISIANA so i can wear my new jacket :)!

The fleece quality alone is reason to purchase and wear. But what really makes this jacket so appealing for my wife and daughter is it's finish and die lot color. The color is full and stricking. Good choice of color combinations. The seaming and zippers are very well done. The zip pulls are neat looking details as well. I saw my daughter from a distance the other day (this is N.Ohio...cold Spring) and had to looked twice because she was so pretty in the jacket. It will make a stricking and warm addition to any women's warm wear wardrobe.

I bought this fleece to wear on slightly chilly days. It is soft and warm. I am 5' 4", 120 pounds and the the small fits fine. I also love that I can also zip this into my TNF Various Guide jacket for an extra layer of warmth when I hit the slopes during ski season.

I wanted a nice, black fleece zip-up jacket to wear on its own in the fall, and as a layer under a down jacket in the winter. This fleece jacket is wonderfully soft, and seems really sturdy!! unfortunately have not really had a chance to wear it yet haha, but I imagine it'll hold up quite well. I got a small so it would be loose enough to fit a sweater underneath and not tight on its own. I think the small size works perfectly for this, although the sleeves are quite long on me, though I think that's just because I have shorter arms. The fleece is a little thicker than I expected, not a lightweight as the TNF Salathe, but still not really a thick jacket.

It's lovely, warm, comfortable, fits me, good price, good service, except the color. I ordered this jacket in black/black, when it arrived, it's not black, it's charcoal gray. Can anybody tell me which color is true black? Is it "TNF black" real black? Thanks. This is not my first TNF jacket, it's my 4th, I love the product so much, I keep coming back for more, I want to find a very warm/windy-proof and good looking jacket in real black. I had WINDWALL 1 (no hood) and 2 (with hood) in different colors, not black. This time, when I searched in Altrec, I saw TNF FENIX WINDWALL Jacket. It looked like what I am looking for, but it does not have that many reviews. only 18 reviews, while WINDWALL 1 & 2 has hundreds of reviews. Can anybody tell me why? Is it too new in the market? or it's not as good as WINDWALL 2 or 1? Thanks. By the way, for this KHUMBU jacket, I already cut off the price tag, can I still return it, Altrec? You guys have an excellent return policy, hopefully I can return it and order other jacket in real black. Thank you all for your reply.

As always, North Face has a great product. This jacket is just the right weight for a cool day and perfect to wear under a windbreaker. It's fairly fitted, and made to fit very well: true to size. The Khumbu fleece is my favorite of North Face's jackets and vests.

Great insert for NF shells. It is so soft and warm! Sizing appears to be consistent with other NF items. Purchased as a Christmas gift and sure that it will be a crowd pleaser. Don't hesitate to purchase, I think that it is nicer than my Denali jacket!

This was my first north face jacket, since then I've had a few other ones, i like this jacket but i definately like the Denali jacket better, it's warmer and i just like the overall design better but this is still a great jacket, don't get me wrong. It's also a lot more reasonable price wise than the denali.

I ordered this jacket as an alternative to a heavier, hooded northface I already own. This fleece is lighter weight yet still super warm, perfect for fall and winter in Northern California. I live in San Francisco and the constant fog makes a jacket such as this one necesarry, great to layer on really cool days or to throw on over a t-shirt. The fit was true to any Northface product... I am 5'5 and 130 lbs, so the medium was the right pick for me. I love the solid black as it is very versatile... cute with jeans and sneakers!

I absolutely love this jacket! I was worried about ordering it offline but everything turned out great! I weigh about 130 and I am average height, and ordered a small that fits perfectly. There is nothing that I dislike about this jacket. It is super warm and comfy and easy to just throw on over any piece of clothing. It also works well over hoodies to keep you extra warm. I also like to wear it under my winter coat when it is really cold out. I definitely do not regret purchasing this product, it's my favorite clothing item that I own.

I normally wear petite sizes, but can sometimes get away with a regular Small depending on the manufacturer. And since a fleece jacket doesn't require a tailored fit, I thought I'd give it a try for the reasonable price. Unfortunately, the jacket was huge in the arms and chest. XS not available so I had to return it. Otherwise, it looked great and felt like a very high quality jacket.

I purchased this jacket for my granddaughter. She is 5'6" , 124 lbs. and very athletic. I got the small in Black/Black which is more of a dark charcoal. She does have extra room and if she wanted to wear a sweater under it, she could easily. She loves this jacket, and it looks so cute on her. Altrec has great prices and quick shipping.

I have 3 of these jackets, I love them! They are comfortable, warm and a great price! Perfect for casual wear, inside and outside. I order this jacket one size up, it will give you more room if you want to wear a sweater on those cold New York days.

It's lovely, warm, comfortable, fits me, good price, good service, except the color. I ordered this jacket in black/black, when it arrived, it's not black, it's charcoal gray. Can anybody tell me which color is true black? Is it "TNF black" real black? Thanks. This is not my first TNF jacket, it's my 4th, I love the product so much, I keep coming back for more, I want to find a very warm/windy-proof and good looking jacket in real black. I had WINDWALL 1 (no hood) and 2 (with hood) in different colors, not black. This time, when I searched in Altrec, I saw TNF FENIX WINDWALL Jacket. It looked like what I am looking for, but it does not have that many reviews. only 18 reviews, while WINDWALL 1 & 2 has hundreds of reviews. Can anybody tell me why? Is it too new in the market? or it's not as good as WINDWALL 2 or 1? Thanks. By the way, for this KHUMBU jacket, I already cut off the price tag, can I still return it, Altrec? You guys have an excellent return policy, hopefully I can return it and order other jacket in real black. Thank you all for your reply.

I ordered the white/lunar gray color, and it looks great! This is a great casual jacket for cooler days in Southern California. I ordered a Small, and its larger than my other North Face fleece jacket, which is also a Small. But the fit is comfortable, and it has the hidden drawstrings at the bottom that will keep out any wind. Highly recommended, great price!

I had doubts with the whole online shopping thing but i love this website. it has the best products. i love the North Face jacket because it is the best quality and the sales are amazing! i wish would have bought a slightly smaller size, but it will be fine against the winter.

A great product--warm and well-made, tailored to fit comfortably but not too loosely (ordered a small and fits nicely for a size 6, but not much room for a thick shirt underneath). Fabric is very plush and appears durable; I anticipate this jacket will wear well over many seasons. Altrec's price was the lowest I found anywhere after much comparison shopping.

I am 5 feet 100 lbs with a small frame, so I got the xs and it fits me nicely with some space for layer. The sleeves are a bit long, covering the tips of my fingers, but I kind of like it that way; it keeps my hands warm during the chilly days. The jacket is very warm and soft, but it's not wind proof or wind resistant. However, if you wear a long sleeve shirt underneath, you wouldn't feel the impact of the wind much during those chilly days. Absolutely love the jacket, and I am getting addicted to TNF products and have not stopped shopping from Altrec.com ever since I found this website with the great prices it offers on TNF!

This jacket is great. It good for the cool mornings, the fall days when its not to cold, but not to warm as well. Its great all around. Just wouldnt recommend the white color, cause ever piece of lint shows. Would definetly get any color than white. However, I love the white with gray sleeves. Great Purchase!

I love this jacket. I think the purple and grey is really pretty. It provides more warmth than the tka 200 which I also love. So between those two choices I'm covered on all but the coldest of days. I own 7 north face jackets and this one is the one I wear most. I plan to order another one soon. Seems to be true to size for me. I almost always wear an XS (size 0 in clothes) and the XS was just perfect. Just enough room to have another layer on underneath without being too big.

I have not wore it out in the cold yet , b/c its still summer but when i tried it on i absolutely loved it . It's sooo soft , and it fits soo well . I cant wait to wear it in cold weather .

My daughter ordered this jacket and it is very nice. The color was beautiful and the jacket fit perfectly.. My daughter is small and it seems like everything fits so tight anymore. The fit was perfect and she's already ordering another jacket.

I loved my jacket right when I tried it on. The fit is perfect and it feels great when the weather is a little chilly. The weight was perfect and the picture really showed you what you were purchasing. The only complaint I could make, if there is even is one, is white is going to be a bit of a challenge to keep clean. I'm 5'2, 130lbs and the shape of the jacket is really flattering to the female figure. The anti-pill is no lie. Loved the price to top it off!

I can't believe I found this jacket for such a great price. It's the perfect NF Fleece. It is a thicker fleece, not too warm that it's only for winter, but warm enough for year round use. The fit is true to size. I can wear it over other base layers for super warmth or alone on cool nights on the boat or around the campfire.

This is a great fleece for the price. We have several Denali fleeces, wich are also awesome, but which are a lot more expensive. I would say that the Denali fleece is the highest quality/best quality/best looking fleece of this brand. But, this fleece is A LOT less expensive and it is a very thick and very warm one, warmer than I would have expected. My 17 year old daughter "borrowed" mine last year, never to be recovered. I just bought her a new one ( she is 5'9"/125- 130lbs/thin/athletic build and the size small fits perfectly- she could even wear a thin sweater under it)in the Vienna Green (best of the colors left on sale and in her size) and she adores the color and loves the fleece. I did also buy her a new black Denali fleece in Black, size small also, which she adores as well. So if you are looking for a very lightweight fleece, this Khumbu is not for you. But if you are looking for most bang for your buck and you are in need of a think/heavy nice looking fleece, then you won't go wrong with this choice!

i love the north fleece jackets they are so warm but still light! although the cost is a little much it is so worth it! i would love to have one in every color to add to my wardrobe. north face is a great product that has a great design and lasts a long time. definitely worth the money!!

The website was very easy to use. We were looking for a jacket that fit long but was still fitted and not too wide. This jacket fit a tall, slender girl very well. It is warm and the quality is excellent - it is a North Face! Because the color of the jacket is being discontinued, I was able to purchase it at a VERY reasonable price. It will last for years!

Finally !---a jacket with sleeves that are long enough and the jacket gives me a trim look. I am 5'4" and 118 pounds and hate for the sleeves to pull up and the jacket to appear bulky--this jacket had the qualities to make me happy about those 2 objections. The quality is excellent and it is warm yet light weight. It came in handy for this week's "COLD" plane trip and for morning walks in the mountains. I like the spacious zip pockets for going out without a purse. This is a great investment !!

I am absolutely in love with this jacket. It is so comfortable and warm that I wear it all the time in a cold weather. So far I am very happy with the quality and durability of this product. I have to say it exceeded my expectations and I am going to buy it in a different color for this winter. I am pretty tall and athletic and got it in size L since I wasn't sure if it was going to fit. If I were to get an M it would still fit, so I recommend getting size you normally get your fleece jackets in since it runs true to its size.
