Too Big

Altrec was great. The fleece arrived right away. Unfortunately, it was too big even though I ordered the small. I am 5'6" 115 lbs and the style wasn't flattering at all. It was as if I was wearing a bag. I usually like the North Face's gear and plan and trying to find another one with a different cut.

Nice, but a bit bulky

I returned this fleece. It seemed warm and well-made (and I'm usually a North Face fan), but I found it bulky and shapeless. Also the eco green looks more like a bright lime green than appeared online.

This is my third Womens Northface Khumbu Fleece, and I love this Jacket. It is a heavier fleece and has a very nice fit to it. This time I bought the Bittersweet Brown. This was my first experience with dealing with Altrec, and I had a great experience with them and will purchase more of these Jackets from them. The Color selection as well as the price is the best that you can find on the internet in my opinion. I also received my Jacket on the exact day that they said I would receive it. My overall experience with this product and ordering through Altrec was great. I highly recommend this Jacket.

Comfy and warm, but not for windy days

North Face doesn't disappoint with this one: Nice and warm and comfy, but I do not recommend for windy days. I feel it cuts right through. Sizing is perfect for layering underneath, but for a more form-fitting jacket order 1 size smaller than your norm.

It's a great jacket, but I should have ordered a small. It runs kind of large so if you want a size I would go a size smaller. Other than that it's an awesome jacket.

I ordered this jacket for my daughter for Christmas because I couldn't find the off-white color she wanted in the stores. It came quickly and though the price was a little higher than sale prices in the stores, since I didn't have to pay tax, it was about the same price.

I ordered this jacket for my 11 year-old daughter. She loves The North Face and already has a brown and black, but wanted a lighter color. It is extremely soft but still keeps her warm; which is what I look for as a mother. She wears them to school everyday and it is perfect for this use. I would definitely recommend this jacket!

Excellent quality! I have two, a black one and a moonlight ivory. The sizes are true, if you wear a medium, purchase a medium! My daughters also have one and love them as well. Fast shipping is also a bonus, and free!!!

i purchased this for my daughter attending college in upstatenew york. she loves it. she is 5'3" and 115lbs ad i bought a small. fits well with some extra room for a sweatshirt or sweater underneath. she says it was very warm and helped get her through the recent cold spell in the northeast

I love this jacket. It fits great, I am 5'3 and very petite, the xs fit wonderfully. The quality is great and the alba green is a beautiful color. You cannot beat the price for this great jacket!

was thicker than normal fleece that's cheaper, and was warm. I'm 5'2" and 100 lbs, got the xsmall and fit pretty nice length-wise. however there's too much room in the upper arm and chest area, causing it to look bulky at top.

My daughter loves the look and comfort of this jacket. The sizing is right on so order what you normally wear. It is not a slim fit which is nice for layering. You'll enjoy this one!

Great product! I bought this as a gift. It is a warm and versatile fleece jacket. Unfortunately, I bought the wrong size, but I will be exchanging it for a different size. I think the sizing is true and I misjudged what size to order.

The Women's Khumbu Fleece jacket is superb! The fleece is very soft and not "stiff" fleece like some other jackets tend to be. I bought this as a Christmas gift, but decided to try it on, bought a small and I usually wear mediums...however this jacket was the perfect size. Sleeve length was great also. I will definitely be purchasing one for myself soon!! :)

I purchased this jacket as an extra fleece and soon realized this fleece was a lot better than anticipated. It is long enough which I always like and the fleece is so warm and the eco green color I got is rich and different. I highly recommend purchasing this product for the price. I'm 5'5" & 150 and normally wear petites. A Medium fit me perfectly, including the sleeve length. Although roomy enough to allow for layering, the very comfy, semi-fitted jacket doesn't look sloppy. Super fast shipping to APO too! Thanks for supporting the troops, Altrec!

Got the N.F. Khumba for my wife as an early Mother's Day gift. She just loves it & the way it fits her "special" body (4'10",just say over 100 lbs., but heavily busted). She claims it feels like it was made just for her & is contoured just right. I got this one because I felt the Denali might be too warm for her, as she "heats up" easily when doing things. Perfect warmth, feel, everything. Great buy!

I ordered the Khumbu jacket in vine green and I absolutely *love* the two contrasting greens. The fit of the jacket is also quite flattering on a curvy, healthy woman. I ordered it bigger so I could wear a sweater underneath, and it's perfect. A bit pricey for a fleece, but the free shipping had me sold!

Warmer and more comfortable than the Denali

I bought a cream colored Khumbu for my daughter. She says it's warmer than the North Face Denali and that the sleeves at the wrist are more comfortable and don't ride up like the sleeves on the Denali. Also, she spilled hot chocolate all over the front of the Khumbu the second time she wore it, and the stain was completely gone after I washed it. I was so impressed, that I bought the same jacket for my second daughter.

I am happy with this fleece. It is warm and fuzzy and the colors stand out amongst all other fleeces out there. Good fleece for the price you pay and I like that the fit is more flattering and longer and not as boxy as some other fleeces out there.

I love how well this fleece fits - it's slightly tappered at the waist. It's so warm and comfy, I've been able to wear it alone (and it's been cold) or under a shell when it rains (which is often in Bellingham WA). Loved it so much I ordered one for my husband and he's loving it too!

Sorry, but the name just sounds like an old Tarzan movie! I ordered this jacket for my college aged daughter in school in Illinois. College in Illinois equates to lots of walking in horrible weather. She LOVES the Khumbu, and wears it almost everyday now. The product is great, and the service and delivery time from Altrec was super. This was my first purchase, and I'll definitely be back.

I ordered this jacket after trying out a few different NF jackets trying to find the right one that I could wear throughout the year as a layering piece and jacket when needed. This was exactly what I wanted! Fit is a little bigger than others I have tried on, but still accurate. Love this jacket!!

I have had this fleece for about a week, and I've worn it every day in 40-50F weather. It's very comfortable in that temperature, and if I put a sweater under it, it keeps me warm at about 35F. It's very soft and fits well, although it is not a very slim fit.

The Women's Khumbu Fleece Jacket is great. The jacket is soft and does not irritate your skin like other jackets do. It is great for the winter. I have another North Face jacket, but I decided to go with just the fleece jacket and I'm glad I got this fleece because I love it!

I really love this fleece. It is just the right weight and provides warmth without bulk or stiffness. I haven't checked out the north face in a while because I am a tall girl (5'10) and their sleeves used to be short on me (size small), but after reading the reviews, it seemed that they have corrected this issue so I gave it a try and I am very satisfied. I also love the service (and competitive prices!) at Altrec. I will definitely be looking to shop here again!

I just got this jacket and love it. Great quality and the green is a beautiful color for the spring. I am 5 foot 6 and 125lbs and ordered the small. It is a perfect fit. Medium would have been too big.

This is the 3rd year in a row that I have gotten both of my girls new Khumba jackets from Altrec. They are so soft, warm & comfortable. The girls practically live in them. Shipment is always fast and dependable. They are a little on the roomy side so you can wear layers underneath.

Very soft plush fabric, warm enough for 40-50 degree weather. Ideal for energy-saving low thermostat temperatures. Zip up collar for colder weather. Mine got stolen out of a hotel and I am replacing with identical item, same color.

I bought this jacket for my high school daughter and the fit is excellent. It is just the right weight for her to wear every day. It is not warm enough to wear as a winter jacket but fall and early spring will be perfect.
