small, very small
October 11, 2012

I have average to small hands. This is my second pair of Montana gloves, as the others are packed away somewhere in my cabin. I purchased these gloves for the warmth they provide, not for the fit. The first purchase I ordered a size M. They fit my 4 year old grandson, thus ending in an exchange, which was painless due to Altrec's great customer service. I did have to wait for the large to come in, which was a pain. Now to the fit of this glove. The actual body of the glove (from the base of the hand/wrist to the base of the fingers is actually to short for comfort for me. The finger length is slightly long, but would not be if the body of the glove were slightly longer. If it were not for the warmth of the glove (and I tried many over the past 4 years) I would not purchase. I use them for going to and from work.

Cons: Bad design, Low performance

Well made, warm, practical glove. Took it skiing in 20 degree weather and had no problem with it.

great gloves! warm! cute! comfortable. its a little big but they ran out of the size small so i ended up with the mediums. but they are great! its just a tad long on the fingers but the fit otherwise is perfect. i got the white version and its very cute but warm and durable at the same time. i would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a pair of gloves for snowsports!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Performance, Cons: Cost

It is very good quality. This is for a girl. She loved it very much. We will buy Northface again. And Altrec always has the best price of Northface in the market.

Very nice, but wrong size
January 20, 2012

These are quality gloves, as are all North Face products that I have ordered, and I can't wait to wear them; however, they were too small. I am not a huge person overweight and thought I had average size hands, and thought medium would fit fine, but I am going to have to order the large.

Very nice gloves
January 31, 2011

My wife was looking for a decently priced glove with great features and warmth. I chose these gloves because of the North Face brand and it had all the features she wanted: A zip pocket for warmers, gauntlets that will close over her jacket and tighten and excellent comfort and durability. They are also very stylish. The only reason I am giving these gloves four stars versus five was probably my fault - I bought the wrong size so the tips of her fingers are getting cold. We are returning the gloves and will get another pair of the same ones in a size smaller. When we test those out, I will edit this review for better or worse.

These gloves are great. They fit nicely to the hand without a lot of bulk in the fingers. They kept my hands warm and dry while on the mountain and didn't have any problems strapping on my board with them on.

As expected
February 04, 2013

I am always satisfied with North Face products and these gloves are no exception. The quality is what you would expect from North Face. Excellent! I ordered a large because I usually run medium to large with gloves and wanted to make sure I had enough room for liners if needed. The size is great for me.

Pros: Great design

great buy!

I really like these gloves! they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. They are warm and have all sorts of little bonus features that you don't really think about wanting until you don't have them, like the zippered pocket for a hand warmer, the adjustable wrist, and the goggle wiper. I'd definitely recommend these gloves for someone who spends a lot of time outdoors in the cold, snowboarders or not.
