Born in the summer of love, I have watched many fashion trends unfold. Despite the wide variety in the market place, I have found that while sleeveless vests are extremely practical, they have been very unflattering to my feminine form. Enter this vest from North Face. The device is amazingly thin, about one inch AND it is extremely toasty. Whether you want to wear it fuzzy side out or in (as it is reversible) the fitted vest fits true to size (I am 5'4" a size 4-6 and took a small) and will indeed keep you toasty warm. While I got black, all the colors look great and will be a wonderful addition to any outdoorsy gal who likes looking great while keeping warm.

Sizing too strange

Ordinarily a North Face small is perfect; in the case of this vest the small fit more like I would expect a LARGE to fit (way too roomy in the arms, too wide), and the extra small fit me like a sausage casing. Too bad, because the vest is really cute - and I loved the fact that it's reversible. I toyed with the idea of keeping the extra small vest because it is so stylish, but wound up

I recently took this vest with me on a hiking trip up to Pictured Rocks UP MI. It gets up to 80 during the days and down to 40 at night, this vest really came in handy. Kept me warm for my evening outings, and allowed me to enjoy the sunshine hiking around with comfort. It's also reversible for a different look, I got mine in a stunning turquoise color, which is great because a lot of our base layers we wear are neutral colors. It really makes your look pop.
