The North Face Women's Nuptse 2 Vest is very warm and has snug fit. It's great for running errands without wearing a bulky jacket. The soft fleece neck lining provides added comfort. I am a tall 5'8'' and medium build woman and the medium size is perfect fit for me. I highly recommend this vest for running to the gym, classes or just doing errands. Great warm layer.

I wear it everywhere. Got it in white. Only comment...I have a 37" chest and I bought the small. It fit's perfectly, so I think the North Face size charts are a bit off.

I decided to buy myself a down vest for my birthday after borrowing my daughter's for a few days. I chose this one in white based on reviews and am not disappointed. I wear it all the time, even in the house when I am a bit chilled. It is good for walking outside as an extra layer and it looks good with jeans, too. It is lightweight, soft and warm. I am 5'8" and 130 lbs. and I got a small. I am happy with the quality and have only had it a month so I can't say about durability. Love it.

I ordered this vest and loved the service I received from altrec. Although I ordered the wrong size I was very happy with the quality of this vest. I thought I needed to order a size larger to accommodate a sweatshirt underneath, but I should have ordered my regular size. I am 5'5" about 130lbs and usually wear a small and ordered a med. The return process has been so easy and I was able to chat online to get the help I needed to purchase a new vest. Love this company and the product I purchased. The shipping time was faster than I expected and was shipped sooner than they had said.

A Sleeveless Jacket!!!

I have had my North Face Nuptse vest for over a year now and I AM ADDICTED to it! It may be causing a rift in my relationship because my boyfriend wishes I wouldn't wear it so much. It is soft, comfy and oh-so-warm. Get this: IT IS BASICALLY A SLEEVELESS JACKET. Sleeves just get in the way...seriously, who really needs sleeves anyway? Durable, warm enough to withstand Wyoming winters AND looks great with a pair of stretchy pants...YES, PLEASE.

I'm 5'2" 110 pounds and ordered a small. LOVE it. perfect fit. it is a little snug when wearing a sweatshirt but I like that, wanted it more fitted. you can't go wrong with this one:) have only owned it a week so can't report on durability.

The quality is so good and comfortable that I want to wear it in the winter every day. It's warm and fashion, especially the black color. You can wear it with whatever clothes you are wearing, it fits nicely. It's so light so I don't wear too much clothes looks like a Big ball.

In the short time I've had my white Nuptse vest it has really made my life easier. It's so easy to grab it and go. It looks great with either a sweater or fleece and I've worn it with jeans, wool slacks or my tai chi clothes.

We moved to a town where people walk everywhere all year round...and the average snow fall is 65 inches. We needed vests for the fall and beginning of winter and are ordering nuptse jackets for the rest of the winter. Have heard nothing but wonderful things and can't find our sizes in black locally (too much demand). Looking forward to staying warm this year.

Nice Vest-Too Big

Vest seemed nice and warm. However, XS was way too big around the shoulders and under the arms. I am 5'2 and 110 lbs. I think the best thing would be to buy a girls L or XL for a better fit. Delivery from Altrec was fast.

This is a great product from North Face which has it all really. It's incredibly warm but not so bulky that you can't wear it under a ski jacket. It looks great (no odd fur trimmings, no shiny finish) and you can wear it over a hoodie and under a bigger ski jacket. Definitely my favourite puffer vest that North Face offers. Great price from Altrec - literally couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else I looked.

I purchased this vest as a replacement for my wife, she lost one on the airplane coming home from Minnesota. Her father had purchased a local brand and it just didn't compare to her old NorthFace vest. I had just purchased an LL Bean vest and she didn't like that one either, it was "too generic." Now that I see the North Face, I'll be ordering one for myself, the high collar, the form fit and the extra length are all plus' in our books.

I have the long sleeve nuptse and the Metropolis and I love North Face Down. This vest is so easy to wear. I think it runs true to size- all my coats are and Xl and they fits great.

I ordered a Med. I am a small to medium build and the only thing is this tends to be a bit more fitted at the waist. If you aren't totally slender it might fit a tad snug in the stomach area. It's fine for me as long as I don't wear a heavy sweatshirt under it. If your planning on wearing it with heavy sweaters you might size it up.

I purchased this vest as a replacement for another one I bought years ago and somehow lost among all my moves in college. This vest is great! Super warm, really comfy fleece on the pockets and neck lining, and surprisingly low profile for a puffy vest. Looks great layered over a sweatshirt or just a long sleeve. I'm 5'5", 125 lbs, and the XS is great - definitely on the more fitted side, so if you're looking for a looser fit, order a S. LOVE IT! Bought it in purple too.

This vest is just what you would expect from North Face. the fit is great ( with white I went a size smaller for a more fitted look). Very warm, would definitely buy again in another color.

This vest is warm, cozy and fits me perfectly. It is great for running out the door for early morning classes or just for everyday wear. I am a small but had to order a size down because these vests run a size big. I am extremely happy with this product and I received it in perfect condition!

The Nuptse Vest is 700 fill and is the perfect weight for a cold and windy day. I have owned a lot of vests by various manufacturers and the Northface Nuptse Vest is Simply The Best!

I've been looking for the right down vest for awhile. I had my eye on the Patagonia down sweater vest but the fit is very short and wide (unflattering). I'm only 5'3 and 130lbs so I don't see how anyone taller looks good in it. The answer to my search was this North Face Nuptse vest! I ordered a size small and it's a nice length and is fitted in a way that is flattering. Since puffy items can make you look big, the fit really matters. I have a 27inch waist and D cup if that helps give you an idea of the right size. I wouldn't recommend ordering an XS unless your are truly teeny tiny and small chested. This vest is warm and soft. I got it in black so it will be versatile.

Warm but Drafty

Very warm except the arm holes are too large and I get wind drafts, defeating the warmth of the rest of the vest. I usually purchase a medium in TNF gear, but this medium is a bit on the big side--should have purchased a smaller size. Bought this to zip in my TNF Varius Guide jacket but it's a bit bulky together.

This insulated jacket is perfect for weekend mornings on the soccer sidelines and performs well sledding and intertubing Stevens Pass. As a busy mom who now likes to spend time with my children outdoors, this fashionable layer does the trick and looks great too! I'd expect nothing less from a quality brand like The North Face.

Yes, you heard me right. I wanted Michelin Man bulk, but this isn't it. Still, excellent vest. Details, quality are very good. I guess my opinion is that to get extreme warmth, I want high fill power and tons of down. Hence, big bulk. Bring it on.

I love it. It is so warm. I probably could have gone a size smaller, but this allows me to put some layers under it (the chuncky sweater). I was very happy with the service and it's arrival time. I probably will be ordering again.
