This is the softest fleece I've ever seen/worn. The first few times I wore it out, I got so many compliments from random passers by. It is surprisingly warm for being just a shell/fleece. Love it!

I love this jacket. It's true to size and so soft. A great jacket to wear alone or with a Northface shell overtop. Not a jacket for really cold weather, but fine to wear during normal winter temps.

Just bought 2 jackets and I must say I love them. Very comfortable and warm. They are true to size, however, if you are well endowed... I would recommend the next size up. Other than that... they fit like you would anticipate. I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed.

I love this Osito style Jacket so much, I bought one in blue last year & I bought the pink & black this year. They wash & wear really well, mine still look like new. I wear them almost every day, they are great year round in Northern Indiana weather. They are so comfortable & soft. I think they run a little small, I wear a small in most things but the arms were too short so I bought the medium & it fits much more comfortably. I highly recommend this jacket, I get compliments on it all the time & beware people may try to pet your arm to feel how soft the fleece is, ha.

This is my 3rd North Face jacket, and this is by far my absolute favorite! I ordered this on a Tuesday evening, and I received it on a Friday morning! Every time I wear this jacket I have gotten tons of compliments! People are actually coming up to "feel" the jacket! It is the softest thing ever; and since I ordered it in black, it goes over almost everything I own. This was my first purchase from Altrec, but it will definitely not be my last. I got the North Face Osito for my wife after purchasing one for my daughter. They are both very happy with the feel and warmth of the jacket. I haven't noticed the fleece "lint" coming off as I have read in other reveiws, but just to be safe will have them dry cleaned when needed. Have another daughter and will be purchasing her one.

I have to say that this is the most comfortable jacket I have ever owned. It's so soft and plush and after a year of wearing it constantly it still looks and feels the same as when I bought it. It washes well. I hang it to dry but I do not wash it often (no need to as I have the black). The fit is perfect. I am an 5'3" and of average weight and I wear a medium. I love to wear it under my North Face windwall. The two are the perfect combination here in the midwest during our freezing cold winter months! I strongly recommend this jacket.

This jacket is a good middle of the road choice. Looks great, and the fit is a bit tapered. You can wear it do dress nice or be casual. It's light weight but since its a quality item, it's warm, but is not for really cold weather.

I have wanted to buy this jacket for a really long time and I was looking for the perfect deal, altrec had the best deal of all the places I had been to. This jacket is so warm on a cold day, the outside feels like a blanket and it keeps you warm even if you wear a short sleeve shirt underneath it. I like the fuzzy feeling on the outside and the fact that i can throw it on top of a tank top and still feel warm. The size fit perfectly, i had tried on a few north faces before i purchased it so i knew exactly which size to get. I would recommend this product to everyone!

So, if you are expecting a snug fit you might want to try a different style. It has pockets on both sides with smooth interior fabric. Perfect for cold weather and looks great with jeans!

This is our second North Face Osito jacket. After two great years with the first one my daughter outgrew it and asked for the same jacket in a different color as her replacement. The jacket is incredibly soft and warm and looks great with her school clothes ... she wore it nearly daily all fall. While it won't work as her heavy winter coat she'll be pulling it out again in the early spring. She's a size 6, 5'5" (on a good day) and very athletic. The large fits her perfectly. BTW: It also fits my wife who is little bit bigger and taller.

Bought this for my teenager, it is her absolute favorite jacket. She loves the softness. She is 5'2'' and 103 pounds and wears an XSmall. It has been washed several times in cold water and hung up to dry and still looks brand new.

I bought this jacket for my 12 year old daughter. She loves the Kodiac blue color and loves how it feels on the outside. She is 5 ft and 80# and the XS fits her well with a little room to grow. Looks snazzy and am very pleased thus far. She has worn the jacket around the house and no fuzz is coming off the jacket! My daughter can't wait to wear it! Bring on the cooler weather!

This is the softest thing ever!!! I have a poodle puppy and this jacket is honestly just as soft as petting her fur! I't really light weight and warm. It feels incredible on your skin and on days that are above 40 degrees it's a great light jacket in my opinion!

Soft as a Teddy Bear

This jacket is SO SOFT, my 9 year old is constantly wanting to touch it. It feels like a Gund teddy bear. I bought the Bittersweet Brown color and really like it. It's similar in color to a piece of dark chocolate, hence the name. :) The jacket is cut fitted, so it looks nice on a woman's figure. I ordered a Small which fits nicely - I am 5'4" and 125 lbs. If you want to wear many layers UNDER the jacket, you may want to order a size up. Since this is fleece, it's not windproof or waterproof, but it's a good jacket for a calm, dry day. I wear it when the temperature is between 40-65, since I am one of those gals who likes to be warm. When it rains, I layer a rain shell over it. The zippered hand pockets are nice for keeping keys and cell phones from falling out. There's a small key pocket within the right pocket, in case you want to keep it separated from other things and avoid scratching them. The only negative I have to note regards the snaps at the end of the sleeves, that are there so you can attach these fleece jackets into the North Face shell jackets. When you are typing, these snaps tend to drag along the keyboard, which is slightly annoying, but not a deal-breaker. It's be nice if the snaps were placed on top of or on the sides the sleeves to avoid this issue.

These jackets are great. My wife has about three of them or at least this fuzzy style. She loves them and they keep her warm on car ride or around the house. The fuzz does transfer to the seatbelt at times but it's all good. We got two smaller versions in pink for our daughters. They look like cute pink muppets.

I love the brushed look of this fleece. The style is slimming compared to other companies. North Face makes a great product and this is one of the best I've owned. Very soft and warm. Runs true to size. Wind gets through a bit, but not much. Perfect when layered.
