The North Face Women's Potosi Jacket

I grew up in the south and have a hard time wearing bulky coats. To me, a bulky coat is limiting and restrictive. I would rather stay inside than bundle up. I bought this coat to wear as an every day coat on walks, taking my kids to the park, to football games, etc. I love it. I decided to splurge on this jacket for myself because it was thin and warm. Features that I love: the coat isn't bulky yet very warm, water resistant, drawstring at the waist doesn't let cold air in, I'm 5"3/118pounds and this coat length(size small) is long enough to cover half of my butt, the sleeves are long but I used the velcro at cuffs and that secures it perfectly at my wrists. The hood will tighten to completely block wind/rain from the top and all sides of the head. I'm going skiing soon and can't wait to try out all the features. The only drawbacks is that it takes a little work to start fastening the zipper to zip it up and that the pockets are higher on the front of the jacket and it takes a little getting use to.
