Excellent for layering on cold ski days or going it alone as a light jacket on cool summer mornings, The North Face Women's Salathe Jacket offers micro-fleece versatility at its finest. The North Face designed the Salathe with a "standard" fit so it layers moderately well with most clothing, although you'll find the best results with athletically trim and close fitting base layers. While the Salathe is zip-in compatible with other identically sized, zip-in compatible women's shells from The North Face, you'll find the best results with newer jacket designs.
- Warm and lightweight 6.3-oz. polyester TKA 100 micro-fleece
- Practical standard fit construction layers well beneath a shell (the Salathe is also zip-in compatible with newer shells from The North Face--if you match sizes properly)
- Zippered handpockets with angled openings
- Bound elastic cuffs and a hem cinchcord help seal out cold drafts
- Weight: 14 oz. (397 g.)

I'm really pleased with my North Face Women's Salathe, the medium fits me
like a glove. The form fitting style of this item makes it look very flattering on me. It's nice, light weight and very soft, it feels as though I am hardly wearing any jacket at all. I really like the fact that it has the zip up pockets on the sides.

It looks and feels great! Exactly what I was looking for. It fits loose so if you like form-fitting, go a size smaller. I personally like it a little loose. It still looks great and not sloppy at all and I can wear it with bulkier shirts/sweaters.

I bought this jacket wanting something thinner than the Pumori-which I have. This jacket is more form fitting and flattering than most fleeces-and is more lightweight for a great morning/evening take along for sports or the city. I am glad I ordered down a size-the small fits a size 8 easily. This will be a great running layer in the fall-extremely breathable.

I purchased this jacket as a gift for my daughter and I know she will love it. It's soft and cozy, and just the right weight for layering either over a turtleneck or under a heavier coat. Just like all other North Face coats, this one doesn't fail. It is warm and soft and perfect for the fall weather. It has become my new favorite. Despite it being extremely light it is very warm. The coat won't block heavy wind (some of the cold air may come through) and it isn't rain proof but it is a great coat.

This jacket was actually a gift for my girlfriend (a much appreciated gift). She says that she loves it and she wears it constantly. I love my Women's Salathe Jacket.
It zips into my Women's Lilou Jacket by The North Face.
It is a wonderfully warm fleece. Adding this fleece to my jacket has made me soo much warmer on those very cold days.
Also, it is a great fleece to wear by itself. Soo warm and very soft.
So you think you will lose inside pockets after zipping in this fleece.
Nope! This fleece has two pockets on either side for sunglasses, cells, or gloves.
The Women's Salathe Jacket is a great addition to one of the many jackets by The North Face.

I was just looking for fleeces- I had needed one for months-- and came across this fleece. I had an instinct saying "Get it for your own good." And I was glad I bought it. It's one of those "must have" things. Now, I grew up in Wisconsin where there's a lot of harsh winters- Now I am in Michigan and I buy top quality fleeces and jackets. North Face is the one and only thing that comes through my mind-- all year long.

Although I haven't taken off my new northface salathe jacket, i was a little disappointed when i saw it for the first time. I was hoping for it to be a bit thicker and warmer than the thin fleece material. However, i am very impressed with altrec and the speedy delivery and accuracy of my purchase.
