I love this jacket, it's so comfortable and warm. It's easily one of my favorites, I would recommend this jacket to anyone! It's one of the warmest fleece jackets I've ever owned, I look forward to wearing it daily!

Jacket
I got this for my daughter. She loves it. The white color looks great. It is very soft and warm. Sleeve length is very generous. North face quality ia always great.

combines style and warmth
I really like the Salathe jacket. I was looking for something that would keep me warm around the house but that i could still wear out as an outer layer on Spring days or as a mid layer on winter days. It suits this purpose well, it looks good and is warm enough for the house/ spring. It is quite thin, which makes is easy to maneuver in, but for someone going into really cold temperatures they might want something a bit warmer and thicker.

It looks much nicer on the website
bought this jacket because it looked much nicer on the website but when I got mine in the mail i wasn't impressed with fit. I purchased a small size and it sure feels like my medium size jackets. I like my jackets to be fitted and this one is way too lose and short. It seems like it's not a true small size.

Love it
Purchased for teenage grandaughter...She loves it! Medium build/ average weight and the medium fit perfectly. This jacket is very soft. Haven't had it long enough to comment on durability and washability but I feel confident that there will be no problems.

North Face Fleece
The Women's Salathe Jacket is very comfortable, durable, and of course the quality of North Face is wonderful. I have previously bought the same jacket about 4 years ago and to this day I still wear it and it looks like new. It is definitely worth the money you spend.

I bought this jacket because I love the style & for the warmth. I bought this in the color black & it wasn't like the picture. It was more like a heather gray or dark grey & I was more so looking for a jet black. I returned the jacket for the womens Momentum jacket & I absolutely LOVE it! It's the perfect color & style I was looking for.

This is my first northface jacket, I love it!! Fits true to size and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this jacket! The price is very reasonable, much cheaper than anywhere around here.

Great Jacket but Didn't Like Tail
I bought this fleece jacket to zip into my NF ski shell. It was a little bigger than size would've indicated, and I usually buy XL because NF runs a bit small. But that wasn't a problem, the slightly longer tail in the back stuck out under the my jacket so I will have to return this item. Only buy if you like the slightly lower back on a fleece.

fit was smaller than expected
The shipping was very quick, and the color was ok, wasnt too thrill with the material itself and it fits alot smaller so may have to order size larger.

Not as I Expected
This jacket is very thin.I ordered a black colored one and it didn't seem black, it was more of a grayish color.And Plus its more of a sweater than a jacket.So if your looking for a warm, thick jacket this isn't the right one.

I got this jacket and thought it was something different. The picture is deceiving. Though it is very warm, its not for me. The waist is very loose. I ordered the black and the color looks gray. The shipping was very quick and came in three days.

Best $$$ spent on a fleece jacket!
Love this fleece! It has been in the 20-30's and this is perfect to keep me warm to run my kids to school, pick up groceries or any other errands without feeling bulky from a winter coat. I just grab a scarf and this fleece and I'm out the door.
I feel this is true to size and since I like a little extra room, I ordered an XL.

great spring/fall jacket!!!
if you're looking for a jacket in between seasons,this one is perfect! i'm 5'3 and 115.originally i purchased xs size,but it was too tight so i exchanged it for small size - which is perfect! i wear it all the time,and love it.it goes with everything in my closet!however i wish the sleeves were more fit by the shoulder area,but can live without it.worth every dollar spent!

The Jacket
When looking at the picture and the product, the picture looks 10 times better but that is not to say that i would not recommend this jacket. The warmth or the jacket it alright( i get a bit chilling in it but it is very comfrotable to wear on a nice chilly and somewhat cloudy day. It is also nice and light can take it anywhere !

Amazing all the way around
I love this jacket. I live in Georgia, so it doesn't get extremely cold. That is why i bought this jacket. It fits perfect. Usually it gets cold in our class rooms...so moms, buy this for you, but also buy this for your daughter. The style is amazing, it looks great, and it is extremly soft. Not to mension, the price is great. I reomend this to every womon and teenage girl out there.

Just enougn Warmth - Very Flattering fit
I got the jacket as a present and I love it! It is softer than I imagined and it fits great! It provides just enough warmth so I can where it around town, to school, and in my daily life during the winter! It has a very flattering fit.

Nice jacket
I bought this in a size Medium. It's a nice jacket, and I received compliments when I wore it. The only thing that bothers me is that I feel the sleeves are a bit too long, which sometimes make me hunch over for some reason. Besides the sleeves being long, it isn't exactly super curve fitting, but it's more curve fitting than North Face's other jackets. I love the long back. I definitely think that the length of the jacket itself and its sleeves makes people that wear this jacket look much slimmer. I love the fleece material.

flattering & functional
I got this in white, it's more tailored to the waist which is what I was looking for. Sleeves are nice and long (if you're tall, you will like the fit for sure). It's not static-y and just overall is a good product. The only thing I don't like is that I feel that my neck is not fully protected since it's not tailored to the neck.

Perfect Fit
I tried it on right away, and it fits perfectly - true to size. I've ordered smalls before, and they were too tight. This is soft and comfortable. The sleeves aren't too long, and the longer back is just what I wanted.

Beautiful style and fit
I wanted to purchase a lighter fleece jacket for my wife on cool days and nights in early Spring. The North Face Salathe jacket did the trick. My wife looks great in it. I like the way it flows and follows her curves.

Perfect fleece!

I absolutely LOVE my North Face jacket!
I just purchased the Salathe jacket and it is soooooo soft and comfortable!!! It's perfect for chilly nights or just going to a restaurant where the air conditioning is too cold. I'm 5'3" tall and 112 lbs. and the size small fit perfectly with a little a roominess. I also have a Denali jacket that I love too when it's a bit colder. Both jackets were well worth the money!

Not too happy with the salathe jacket
I ordered the women's salathe jacket because I read the reviews and thought it sounded like what I was looking for. When I received it, I couldn't believe that I had payed nearly eighty dollars for such a thin, lightweight "jacket." I have now sent this product back and have tried on a few others on in person and may order the women's khumbu jacket. That seems to be more of what I was looking for, and it's the same price for a lot higher quality product.

Runs small, not big.
Many of the reviews said that this runs large. We found the opposite to be true. The arms were plenty long but the body ran true to size, maybe even on the small side. The coat was very short in the body. We had to return it and order a size up. A very nice weight fleec, not too thick and good styling.

Great Multi purpose fleece
The fleece is excellent because it is thin and light weight but keeps you warm. I initially purchased it to go skiing but also use it for running because you can run, sweat, and stay dry. nice colour too! I would definitely recommend it!

Nice Fleece
Purchased this fleece for my wife to zip into an older North Face shell. It fit perfectly and she was thrilled. The fleece is a soft, micro fleece. Would definitely recommend.

Great little jacket~
I bought this as a lightweight yet warm fleece jacket to wear in overzealous air-conditioning indoors under a white coat w/ business casual clothes, or with scrubs. Hopefully other people aren't thinking I look ridiculous, but it does it's job well, without being too obviously "sporty". It also works well outside in cool weather, 40s - 50s I believe. The material may get singed in a hot dryer, but airdries quickly after machine washing.

I am 5'4" 116 lbs and originally ordered an XS. The XS was much too small and short so I sent it back and ordered a M. The M is just a little bigger than I would like it, so I wish I would have went with the S.

Perfect Jacket
I got this jacket to wear through most of the winter here in Missouri. It should keep me warm during everything but the coldest days during the season. The fit is perfect and average for a jacket (which leaves a little room for a sweater underneath). I can't wait until it gets cold!

Great Basic Jacket
This jacket is a great option because it is very warm and light weight. It can be warm underneath your winter coat or rain jacket. Also a great comfy piece to wear by itself. Jacket runs BIG so buy a smaller size then normal.

Too thin
I bought one in black. It is very soft, but it only has one thin layer and does not provide enough warmth if the outside temperature is around 45-50 degrees.It's very pretty and very sleek, just not as practical as I hoped it would be. Free shipping is extremely fast though!

Must Have for the Fall
The Salathe fleece jacket is so soft and comfortable and easy to wear, I purchased three of them. What I love is that the jacket is slightly contoured to fit the shape of your body. It is extremely figure flattering while at the same time keeping you warm and cozy. I've had many compliments when wearing this jacket. I would highly recommend it.

Perfect Everyday Jacket

Form Fitting Style
I'm really pleased with my North Face Women's Salathe, the medium fits me like a glove. The form fitting style of this item makes it look very flattering on me. It's nice, light weight and very soft, it feels as though I am hardly wearing any jacket at all. I really like the fact that it has the zip up pockets on the sides.

It looks and feels great! Exactly what I was looking for. It fits loose so if you like form-fitting, go a size smaller. I personally like it a little loose. It still looks great and not sloppy at all and I can wear it with bulkier shirts/sweaters.

cute and functional
I bought this jacket wanting something thinner than the Pumori-which I have. This jacket is more form fitting and flattering than most fleeces-and is more lightweight for a great morning/evening take along for sports or the city. <b>I am glad I ordered down a size-the small fits a size 8 easily.</b> This will be a great running layer in the fall-extremely breathable.

Perfect for fall weather

Just what I expected
Just like all other North Face coats, this one doesn't fail. It is warm and soft and perfect for the fall weather. It has become my new favorite. Despite it being extremely light it is very warm. The coat won't block heavy wind (some of the cold air may come through) and it isn't rain proof but it is a great coat.

Although I haven't taken off my new northface salathe jacket, i was a little disappointed when i saw it for the first time. I was hoping for it to be a bit thicker and warmer than the thin fleece material. However, i am very impressed with altrec and the speedy delivery and accuracy of my purchase.
