I just receive my jacket, and wore it the first time today. Not only did it keep me warm, but it was it's weight is light, and very comfortable. It fits nice to the body and not too bulky.

amazing!
I simply love this jacket! It's incredibly comfortable and warm. I also like the cord around the waist because it makes the jacket look a little nicer on smaller people. I highly suggest this jacket.

This Jacket Runs Large
I found that the coat runs larger than the measurements indicated on the size charts. I recommend going one size down from your measurements.

This was my first North Face purchase and the most I've ever paid for a "puffy coat" but it is worth it. It is very stylish and contours to a women's figure very attractively. It's lightweight, but very warm. I look forward to purchasing more North Face.

Great investment!
This is one of the best coats I've purchased - cute and stylish yet sporty and also keeps me nice and warm - even in the rainy weather. One down fall is that the feathers slightly come out, but nothing too exterme or noticable at all. Highly recommended!

Warm and stylish
Very cute jacket- followed other reviewer's advice and bought a medium instead of a large and I'm VERY glad I did- they run pretty large. As with all the other reviews, the feathers do come out a bit, but it's nothing that would make me return it. It's nice to have a winter coat that still has some "shape" to it. You can be warm and still have a waist!

Great buy for my daughter.
I gave this jacket to my daughter for Christmas and she says she has never been warmer. She loves the lightweight feel, not bulky but still keeps her cozy. The only "down" side I have noticed is the bits of feathers that come out but she says that is normal for down. I think I got my money's worth.

Nice
Purchased for my daughter. Keeps her reasonably warm while keeping a reasonable feminine line (which makes my wife happy). Only issue is that the jacket has been shedding down feathers. Hopefully that will stop after the initial couple of months.

Beautiful, but drafty!!
I have just bought this jacket expecting it to be warmer. Maybe the drawstring for the waist needs to be lower, or the bottom of the coat needs a little weight so that it will stay down when it's windy. The wind comes up under the bottom and is not that warm. Maybe it needs to be a little longer so this doesn't happen. The coat runs big so get a size smaller than usual. It is super light weight and would be warm if the wind wouldn't come up the back. Also, the sleeves need to be a little longer for me. I am 5'9" and 125lbs. Usually a size small. I got the xs so maybe that is why the sleeves aren't long enough. Super cute on, I bought white so have no problems with feathers. Not sure if I will keep, I want fashion and warmth!!

not fitted at all and far too puffy
The picture shown of the jacket makes it seem as if it is far more fitted than it actually is. There is no definition in the shoulder's and it is very puffy/michelin man-ish especially in the arms and chest. I'm an xs and it was too large and very bulky on me. But it was very very light in weight and I'm certain it would have been very warm. However, if you're looking for a more tailored look (not so easy as far as down winter coats go) I'd say keep looking.

BEWARE!!!!!
Not very happy...have been wearing this jacket for over a month now and it keeps shedding the down feathers :( I bought the black so it is VERY noticable...i am hoping the store I bought it at will take it back!!

Feathers everywhere!
Nice fit, but for $179, I expect the feathers to stay inside the jacket lining. Don't wear anything dark w/this jacket, or you look tarred & feathered!
