i've been looking for a jacket that is warmer than a light spring jacket, that fits well and has a hood. this one has all of that and i love that it comes in so many colors. got the pumice grey and definitely thinking of picking up another one too!

I have bought two of these, one for each of my teen daughters. The weight is perfect as they prefer to layer rather than wear a bulky coat. They are worn almost daily and hold up very well. The monkey thumbs keep their hands warm. Great customer service from Altrec.

Have to return it because I wear an XS but have ridiculously long arms so the sleeves weren't long enough. However, wish I didn't have to because the jacket is very nicely made and super soft. Altrec's service was great too.

Flattering and cozy. I'm 5'7/125 lbs, and the small fits great. I have longer-than-average arms and have found that the jackets that fit in the body often have too-short sleeves. Not a problem with this jacket - the small's sleeves were perfect.

This is a great jacket. The denim color is beautiful. The fitted look is hard to find in denim and is very flattering. The material is warm and soft. I would definitely order this again!

This is great for layering, love the hood (hard to find on thinner fleece zip ups) it is being put to good use under a vest during a nasty cold spell in NYC! Flattering cut and love the thumb holes. Going to be an asset once its worn under my coats.

I got this 2 weeks ago. I didn't like it at first, it look/felt cheap because it was so light and thin.
But then I took my dogs for a walk when it was 60 degrees and windy, this hoodie is surprisingly warm. It also started to sprinkle a bit and I stayed dry, the jacket must be slightly water resistant.
I like the thumb holes, and I love the fact that it has SPF 30, because some mornings I'm kinda lazy with the sunblock.
The hood takes a bit of getting used to; it's not floppy and there's no overhang over your face, seems like it was intended to keep your just your head, ears and neck warm.
The pockets hold onto my cell phone and ipod pretty well, and they're deep enough for a Luna bar, my keys and wallet, too (they look bulky with all that in them though).
I'm 4'11", 90 lbs, and I got an XS. It's a bit big on me. I actually thought it would be more fitted, but I'm unusually small. The length of the arms is just about perfect for me, I have longer arms and prefer sleeves to reach my knuckles, which these do
I have every intention of getting at least two more in different colors, because I've worn this every day since I got it
I got this in white, so far I've managed to get chocolate, tomato sauce, and purple pen ink out of this in the wash

I ordered this jacket Oct. 1 and received it 2 days later, just in time for the fall. It's a great layering piece or by itself. The fleece is thin but warm. I found the fit extremely flattering - and makes my torso appear longer and has a slimming effect even. Overall, this was a great buy.

I LOVE this hoodie and want it in every color. I asked an Altrec sales rep about the most slim fit NF fleece, and she recommended this one. I also wanted a longer hoodie. I'm a size 2, but I have long arms and don't like cropped or boxy fit tops. I love the pockets and the tapering at the waistline.

This is my second Masonic Hoodie. It's perfect on its own as a light jacket or as an intermediate layer under a shell or jacket/vest. It's thin but warm fleece. It fits well, is very soft, and is durable. I love the thumb holes.

I absolutely love this jacket! I was a little nervous that it was going to be tight because it is more fitted, but my large is a perfect fit. My favorite part are the thumb holes- I hate it when my jacket sleeves ride up, and the little holes make sure they don't. This will definitely not be my last North Face purchase!!

I am a very petite person weighing in at just under 100 lbs. I often struggle to find attractive jackets to keep me warm in the New England weather. Anything baggy tends to make me look super frumpy and i used to find myself choosing to be cold over unfashionable. But that is no longer the case! Since I purchased my Masonic Hoodie I have worn it constantly. I own it in Bering Blue and can't wait to buy it in several other colors so it will be less obvious when I wear one everyday.

I got this in the black size small. I wear a size 4 and this jacket is good ,but it is a fitted style. I live in NY so it is a bit cold here now but, this will be perfect for spring and fall. Compared to other webs this was the cheapest price.

spectrum in great, but can't beat the basics...black, brown and white. Made to last for years of wear and wash after wash. Keeps its great look and minimal shrinking even after washing. Much snugger around the waist and a few inches longer in the arms to accomodate the thumb holes. A Must Have. Seriously.

This was the second of these hoodies I bought -- in another color -- because I wore the first one so much it was clear I needed another. Great fit, it looks like a very chic jacket vs ugly fitness wear. The fleece feels like suede. The hood is extremely comfortable, even for working outdoors. It's warm and I end up wearing it all day. I can live in this, especially during the winter.

This Hoodie is awesome! It's soft and shape flattering. Warm as well. The only drawback is that it isn't the best worn under my windwall jacket, they stick together and it's hard to get my arms out.

Altrec is Great! Fast shipping! Jacket ran a tad big, ordered a small and should have ordered an extra small. I am 5'2" 110lbs. Cut seemed a bit skewed, different sized thumbholes. Neat concept, but expected a bit more from North Face.

I wish I loved this hoodie! Great hard to find micro fiber material and touch. I especially liked that it is cut longer than most so it doesn't ride up when being active. However, generally flattering as the hoodie seems and having recently had a baby, I couldn't get over the scrunching details at the pockets. They reminded me of a maternity wear gimmick! I'll wait unil they figure it out come out with an even more streamlined micro hoodie!

Overall, I love my fleece! It is very fitted, and I thought that I may regret getting a medium. I found that I wished the sleeves were longer. I went to a local retailer and tried on a large, and learned that it would have been way too big. This is warm, but is NOT a coat! It is very much a hoodie!

I got this hoodie in purple and the color is great. It was not as fitted as I hoped it would be around the waist. The cinching on the pockets is not as pronounced as it appears in the picture. I have long arms and was pleased that the sleeves are a good length.
