Thinner than expected, but warm
The exterior is somewhat fleece like while the interior is quite soft. Fit is great, with a flattering longer cut in the torso and arms. I will definitely be wearing this sweater on a regular basis.

Great Hoodie
Nice fit, very soft and comfortable. Just right for most everyday in the Northwest. A little tight cut in the waist and hips. If you like a loose fit select the next size up.

Perfect for winter
This thin little coat is very warm! I was so surprised how warmed it kept me. I love that it has a hood as well as the little spot for your thumb. I ordered and XS and it fits me very snuggly. I bought the black. The northface simple is almost the same color as the jacket so you can't really see it, but it's not a big deal. I love this because its a great layering piece.

Northface hoodie was a comfortable buy
The hoodie was the advertised shade of purple and the 100% polyester material gives the hoodie a texture reminiscent of a smooth towel densely populated with short fibers. It feels soft and smooth and is very comfortable for nippy weather (ex: California).
I am 5'6" and about 115 lbs. The medium is slightly loose on me, but I have a petite frame. I wish it fit more snugly or were a bit more flattering to my figure, but that said, the hoodie is good for layering over thinner longsleeves shirts and for layering under larger jackets. It keeps you warm for the fall/spring seasons and is a good asset for layering in the winter.

Love it
I bought 2 of these because I love them so much. One fit slightly smaller than the other and I'm not sure why. The only difference was the color. Overall, I love these hoodies and would buy another one again.

Comfy fleece
I bought this fleece to wear on cool mornings in FL and around the house. It definitely fits the bill and is super comfortable. I got it in a medium although I normally wear small in The North Face so that I could wear it over long sleeve t-shirts and the such. It'll be great for travelling this winter too so I don't have to wear a bulky coat in the car as we head north into cooler climates. Definitely recommend as an everyday fleece.

Perfect gift for wife
Great hoodie for a great price! Bought this for my wife. She likes it most because it's lightweight, warm and not bulky. Works great to pack as an extra for fall hikes. Quick shipping and good customer service, we will be using this site many more times to come.

PRODUCT HAS CHANGED
I purchased two of last year's style and the quality of them was considerably better than this year's model. The new version has a more "fleecy" interior which I am afraid will pill when laundered. Also, the zipper tape (where it joins the hood) was not finished as nicely as the older version. Very unfortunate that North Face cut back on quality.

Fantastic jacket

Awesome hoodie!
I absolutely love this hoodie! I had the previous version and I loved that one too. The material on this item is softer and it seems thicker. The wear and comfort of this item is undeniable. It keeps you cozy on a chilly day and you look great while wearing it.

Cute fitted fleece
I love how soft and lightweight this fleece feels. It is quite warm for how thin it is. I also love how fitted it is, I think The North Face is getting better at making women's fleece jackets and ski jackets more feminine and slimming. Cute pocket detailing as well. Great to wear to run errands and for everyday use. I would highly recommend it. I have it in black and I would definitely love to purchase more.

The jacket was larger than I expected; I am 5'6" and 120lbs and had to return med for small. Very soft fabric, but thin as it's TKA 100. Great to wear over shirts as extra layer for warmth. I'll be using mine often this winter!

Great Sweatshirt
Bought this sweatshirt for my wife. She loves it and wants all the colors. Her only issues would be that the sweatshirt does not come in 1,000 colors.
I really have not a single complaint about the product, price, and experience with altrec. I am very happy and will shop with them again.

Warm and Stylish Hoodie

I love this hoodie! It is thicker than I expected and so soft! Based on other reviews I read I thought it was going to be very thin but it i not. It is slightly on the smaller side but I expected this so I ordered a medium and I will definitely be able to wear a thick shirt underneath. It is also flattering.

Fantastic Hoody
I have one of these in black and could not resist the Avacado Green....such a great color that goes with anything. Love the style and the finish....smooth on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. Can't go wrong with North Face quality also!

Great all year fleece hoodie
I absolutely love this North Face Jacket that I have bought it in two colors. The fit is perfect with a snug fit around the stomach that flares out towards the bottom and hips. It is warm and comfortable and perfect for around 60 degree weather. It is also a great layering piece.

Great sweater!

This is an awesome light weight fleece. I wear it in Northern Indiana even in the summer when the nights are cool and damp. Fits perfectly and is exremely comfortable! I'm 5' 5" tall and weight 120 and ordered a medium. Thanks North Face for another great product!

Love this Jacket
I bought this jacket for cool days when you don't need a heavy coat. It is light weight but still warm. I am tall, 5'8" and 125lbs. The small fits perfect and the arms are a good length. I love how it fits, very feminine cut. I am glad I purchased this jacket.

Great sweatshirt
Love this sweatshirt. It's not too bulky so it doesn't look frumpy. I can wear it to workout or with jeans. The pockets are deep enough so my things don't fall out. Will order another color soon.

Ok, not for me
Structurally, there is nothing wrong with this jacket. I just didn't care for the gathered pockets (I like zippered pockets) so will be sending back. Even if the pockets were just flat (without zips) it'd be better than the gathered look.

Women's TKA 100 Texture Masonic Hoodie
This jacket is a great overall midweight layering jacket but it is also great for running. It has thumbholes so you don't need to wear gloves when you start a morning cold run. The hood is not bulky but works if you need it in the wind. The fit is perfect for a woman. I am 5'4", 120 lbs and wear a small. The length is just below the waist and fits close to the body. The material is soft and comfortable alone or over another layer. It is a jacket you can lounge around in. I would highly recommend it.

Great Hoodie
I love North Face Hoodies. They are very comfortable and stylish. They are well made and hold up well after several washes. I have several colors. I wear them to work, hiking, running, playing with my kids, watching tv, etc. I recently wore one on a windy day and the air did not go through fabric; it kept me warm. I would defintiely recommend this fleece. I am 5' 6" and weigh 120 lbs. I wear a size small.

Great jacket
This jacket is another great product from NF. I have it in few colors and absolutely love it. It is so practical, technical and comfy. It comes in a wide range of cool colors and every year they add few more to their great selection of colors. They last for ever and after so many wash they look like I just bought them.

Very Nice Hoodie
I recently purchased this hoodie and received it quickly. I got the Weimerainer Brown and it really is a perfect description of the color. The jacket is very soft and not "fleece" but more like a microfiber plush material. I love the thumb loopholes and the pockets and hoodie have an elasticized strectch to them so conform to you. I ordered the Small and debated on whether or not to get a Medium, but the small has a little bit of room to grow. Overall great product!

Good, but not as good as previous season
I bought the Masonic hoodie one year ago and was thrilled with it, so I bought another one this past winter. The quality of the material with the current season is not as good as the previous season. I had no problems with piling with my first hoodie. However, the hoodie from this season has terrible piling. I bought the white hoodie this season, and it looks really worn after a couple of months of use. It probably wouldn't look as bad with a darker color. I still recommend the hoodie because of the comfort and fit, but I do not recommend it in white.

Love this hoodie
I ordered this hoodie in 3 colors, in case they ever change the design! I am 5'9, 135lbs and the medium fits perfectly. I have wide shoulders and long arms - and the arm length on this is perfect. Very flattering cut!

LOVE it!
This hoodie has quickly replaced all others in my collection and has become my favorite. As someone who it perpetually cold, the long sleeves and thumb hole is a great way to keep my hands covered but functional. This is great to be used for layering, it works great with a fleece or vest. Often I find that a hood is too bulky and either feels weird or gives a hunchback look when it is under another coat but I have not found that with this one. So far I have used this for wearing around the house, out running errands and during yoga class. I'm looking forward to hiking season as I'm sure it will be a great layer for those in between temperature days. With some brands I have been displeased with their size variation but this is true to size of my other North Face items.

Love my Hoodie
I was looking for a lighter jacket that I could throw on this spring. I found the Masonic hoodie and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I wear it all the time. I got the light pink color and was very pleased at how well it washed up. I would recommend hanging it up instead of drying it. I also have had a few of North Face clothing items run just a tad small; this jacket did not. It was true to size and fits me perfect. I ordered a small and still layer it over T-Shirts and long sleeve shirts. I'm 124 and 5'7''...hope this helps!! Hoping to order another one this fall!

Small and disappointed in logo
I bought the black XL and it was VERY snug. I have other TNF gear in XL and even L and they fit fine. I was also disappointed that the logo was black on black. In the picture it looks white or at the most gray...not black.

Replaces Nearly Everything
I love this jacket and have it in a variety of colors and other styles - hooded and not. I use it as a layer, to replace my bulkier sweaters (who would have thought North Face could create an enemy to cashmere!) and fleece tops, to travel on airplanes, to layer under jackets, and I got so much use out of it that I got one for my 14 year old neice for Christmas - she wouldn't take it off and wore it to bed! Yes, this style rocks and it has a flattering fit making me look slimmer and trimmer. I even used the black one to replace a business shirt/jacket on a Friday in a slightly more casual setting. I've been washing and wearing, and washing and abusing these for moths and they hold up with no pilling looking brand new and drying in no time. Did I say soft and breathable too?

Nice length for tall women
I love most jackets from the North Face. However, some of them seem shorter and boxier to me. I am 5'9'' & 142 lb and usually wear dresses between 6 and 8 . The medium is just long enough and fits well with a T-shirt under. But be aware the material is rather thin and it is not for cold and windy weather.

LOVE THIS JACKET
I absolutely love this jacket! I have two, I love it so much. It fits very well and is warm on colder days. On really cold days I would wear a heavier jacket with it. If you want a jacket that is loose I would go for a size up.

I love it!
I love my new hoodie! I chose a size Medium and it fits perfectly. I am 5'9" and slim build. This jacket is perfect. I love knowing TNF products do not 'skimp' on the arm length. That's one thing that keeps me coming back! This jacket is just perfect. Cute, cozy, comfortable, and a good all over fit. I just wish I could have bought it in the grey, but was sold out. Thumbs Up (and hands warm)
Since I work outdoors, I bought this as a backup for my other fleece (a heavier Mountain Hardwear Microchill) and hoped for something lighter but with a hood and hand-warmers for cooler days. I am 5.9, 130lbs, 32B, long-waisted and the small fit well. I can do about anything in it and it stays in place. Hems are sturdy. The hood is a tad short for me and I am frustrated that it doesn't have a storm-flap to keep the zipper from hitting my neck. Due to the other good features I will simply not zip it all the way unless I have a neck gaiter or turtle neck on underneath. I was glad there was only one logo on the front. I don't mind an emblem somewhere, but North Face also sticks it on the back shoulder of most of their more expensive jackets which is just too much advertising for my taste. Overall it is a smart purchase, an 8 out of 10.

Best investment
I absolutely love this jacket... it's comfortable and perfect for any weather conditions. It protected me from the elements, whether it was raining or strong winds from a cold front.
If you're in between sizes, I would go with a larger size b/c it is a bit snug. I am curvy person, but it hits me in all the right places and compliments my body-type well. I am definitely getting another one of these in another color. The colors are vibrant & have received many compliments from it.

Nice light weight jacket!
I am a fan of the Northface jackets. I was looking for a light jacket that wasn't bulky that I could wear under my other jackets. I found it! This jacket is so comfortable and cozy. Not really a big fan of the color I chose (light blue). It's a little too bright, but I will live with it. Would have rather had a green but were sold out in that color. But I do love the jacket!

comfortable and cozy
This is the second one I purchased. After wearing one most of the winter I wanted to get another; especially since manufacturers tend to discontinue items rather frequently. It's a good fit for a tall lady and washes like a dream. There is slight pilling on the front around the zipper after about ten washings but it's taken prolonged and hard wear and still looks and feels great. This is one of my better buys.

Great lighter weight hoodie
This is a lightweight hoodie made in a type of velour material. The color is great - I got retro pink and it is a very bright mango color. The fit is true to size. I haven't washed it so I can't speak to the durability. The construction is high quality though; the seams are all even and no loose threads. The ruching on the pockets is SO cute!

Best choice i ever made
so i been wanting to purchase a new North face and i love how Altrec has a lifetime return. So if i purchase something i didn't like i would be able to return it for a size that fits. so i found this Pink Masonic sweater with a hood. I was afraid it would be to small if i ordered a large but it fits perfect if i was wearing a sleeveless or just a t-shirt. I am about 5'6 and 180lb. Also it's soft and warm i love it!!!!!!

Nice looking but runs small
Pretty white hoody feels soft with nice stretch but the large seemed more appropriate for a Medium size. Fit is snug and shows off all body flaws--so its very appropriate for a lovely figure. Felt a bit flimsy.

Nicely shaped jacket!
This jacket is figure flattering. It is a nice, durable fabric and comes in gorgeous colors. It is cute for walking the dog or to and from the gym. It runs true to size. I bought this for my college age daughter and she loves the shaped fit.

Awesome Purchase
I purchased the North Face Masonic Hoodie, and I LOVE it! Altrec was the ONLY company that had just the one I wanted with the hot pink zipper and logo. The fit is perfect and looks great! Very comfy, and easy to move in. The best part was, I ordered this on a Friday and Altrec had it to be the following MONDAY! I have NEVER received such speedy shipping before! This product was awesome, and so was the company, I plan to order another one from them soon.

North Face Quality
I ordered this in small, as I have another small a couple of years old and found this one to run a bit smaller. However, the fleece is more windproof on this one making it even warmer. Excellent quality from North Face as usual. It is snug enough also to make it great for layering if you choose.

Basic hoodie A+
If you're looking for the perfect universal hoodie this is it. The Masonic jacket has surpassed expectations be while lounging, cleaning, hiking, working, biking, you name it! The sleeve length is long ( which is great when you're a 6 foot woman ) and the hood fits snug to the head without impeeding vision. The body length could stand to be a touch longer, but once again, this is something you have to deal with when you're tall. The super soft fleece interior provides warmth and snuggle factor with amazingly fast wicking. Many times I've thought " ok, I'm gonna need to wash this after this gym run..." But no, there seems to be some odor barrier as well (and I sweat a lot). There is little to no wind protection, but hey, thats why we layer, right? The super light weight, non bulky fabric allows you to do just that. Overall, this hoodie rocks, and with all the colors available, you can't really go wrong.

Love this jacket
I hate big bulkey jackets thats why I love North Face. You can get the same warmth from a thin little jaket as you could from a bigger, bulkier one. I love the way it fits- very womanly fit not boyish. And the color is great too!!

Disappointed
I have one of the original Masonic Hoodies, and love it. Unfortunately, the fabric on the new hoody is not nearly as durable. I wore it on a flight last week, carrying a light Camelbak, and the fabric where the bottom of my pack rides pilled really badly in about an hour. I'll be sending it back.

Love it!
I bought this jacket to wear under my coat for a skiing trip, and to have as a hoodie jacket. I absolutely love it. The thumb holes were great on the ski trip; I looped them on before putting on my gloves to have an extra layer so that wind and snow couldn't seep in, and I didn't have to struggle with tucking in the gloves under my coat sleeves. This jacket also has a very flattering cut; it fits great almost everywhere, but might run a little big around the bottom. I usually wear a medium, but after trying two sizes on in a store, I went with a small, because the bottom part of the jacket flared out a little more than I wanted on the medium. (However, if I would not have tried on both sizes, I probably would have been fine with the way the medium looked; the bottom didn't flare out that much--I'm just picky.) The jacket is also great with a long-sleeved t-shirt underneath; it's nice and toasty warm. Overall, I'd recommend this in a heartbeat!

not typical northface quality
Although this jacket is cute and functional, it is not typical northface quality. After one week of daily wear while traveling abroad, it has developed pills on the arms and body that make it look like it's been worn daily for 10 years. Very disappointing.....
