Very good purchase
Very good footwear! I bought this as a bday gift for my 18 year old sister. She told me this is the best running shoes she's ever had in her life. The shoe is very light and comfortable. The color is bright and lovely. Most important, your feet won't get too warm or smelly after running for hours. Highly recommend!

comfortable right out of the box!
running on hilly, rocky, dusty wyoming trails, and this shoe has adequate support and traction on the steep downhill portions. crossed a couple of streams, and feet stayed comfy and dry. great shoe!

sizing a problem
I ordered size 8 because my normal shoe size is 7 1/2, but my toes hit the front end of the shoe. I was disappointed. Not sure why the 8 was too small. I am thinking it's best to buy shoes you can try on first!

Great trail running shoe
My husband has always worn North Face trail running shoe, so I decided to try a pair. I really like how light weight they are for a trail shoe.

great shoe but not for my feet
I have an average foot with a slightly narrow heel. I usually wear a size 7.5 or 8.0 in most shoes types. The 8.0 was too big. The 7.5 was better. However,unless I wore a heavy sock I still had problems with the heel slipping. The shoes are well made. The goretex a plus in Oregon weather. I would recommend the shoe IF it works for your type of feet. Regretably I returned them and am still searching for the right fit and the right trail runner. Altrec has great shipping and easy returns.

GREAT SHOE!
I love them. I ran for 30 yrs. Stopped running past 2 years due to fibromyalgia etc. I am now briskly walking this shoe fits me perfect,great arch, ankle, and cushion support. I wear them every day walking fast. Have now bought 5-6 pair and continue to be happy! pairs

Great shoe!
I love my new shoes. I was looking for ankle support and the firm pillow just below my ankle-bone definitely does the trick. They are very comfortable overall and true to size. My only complaint is that with processing shipping time it took 2 and a half weeks to receive them.

Best North Face shoe yet!
This is the most comfortable trail runner I've ever worn. I love North Face shoes and already have several pairs (Hedgehogs, both heights, etc) but couldn't believe how comfortable these are! Took them out of the box this morning and put them on to wear them around the house, and was out on the trail within two hours. Ran 6 miles (snow and mud included) and still wanted to wear them all day afterwards! My feet were dry (thanks, Gore-Tex) and very well-supported. AWESOME SHOES!!!
