Pretty good
March 21, 2012

My height is 168Cm, the weight is 60Kg. I usually wear women size 6 or small in another brand's clothes. But this jacket looks tight, so I ordered medium size. That's a great idea. Because medium size is exactly. The waist fits good, below hip it fits loosely because of its A line. And the length is about knee or above knee 2or 3 inchs. I like it. But the arm's length is too much.

Pros: Ease of use
Comfort: 4 / 5
Durability: 5 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5

Oregon Coast Must!
March 28, 2012

I will start with what I find most helpful when reading a review.. I am a little over 5ft and weigh 145lbs (keeping it real) I first ordered a medium and it fit, but i wanted to be able to wear a big sweater under if needed so I returned it and bought a large. If you like a more fitted feel you should stick with the medium. The coat hits me above the knee, I was worried that I would look like a burnt marshmallow. Luckily for me the coat has just enough shape to give me a waist and it looks nice on. I walk in the rain and wind and never feel cold or wet. This is my first North Face and I couldn't be happier. Living on the Coast we need a coat that can take anything, and this coat fits the bill! My only real complaint is that I couldn't get it in a petite, so the sleeves are to long and that is why I gave it 4 stars.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Cons: i really wish a petite size was offered

Attractive
March 16, 2012

I wear an XL in my North Face Khumbu fleeces. I ordered an XL in this coat and it is too tight across the hips. I wear a size 16 or 18 in pants. The jacket is surprisingly lightweight and very flexible and comfortable. It would be easy and comfortable to take off and carry around while shopping. If I were a smaller size, I would love this coat since it is not at all bulky and the flared A-line shape is very flattering. In fact, I love it so much that I'm going to hold onto it for awhile and see if I can lose a few pounds so I can wear it. I have not worn it in extreme cold or rain yet. It is warm enough for typical winter temps in the 30s and 40s.

Not Warm at All
January 21, 2012

I live in in northern New England, so I was looking for something that keeps me warm. My husband always makes fun of me because I get cold so easily. I received this item in November and I wore it on the morning of Black Friday. It was a little bit below 40 degrees, if I can remember correctly, and I was freezing in this jacket. I was wearing 3 layers under this jacket including a warm knit sweater. It gets much colder in January and February here, so I immediately returned this item. I was disappointed with North Face because I used to have their 600 fill power down jacket almost 10 years ago and it was much warmer than this 700 fill power jacket. It fits very nicely, true to size, and it was not bulky at all. It was stylish and fashionable. Too bad that it did not keep me warm because I really liked the design.

Pros: Great design, Cons: Low performance
Comfort: 5 / 5
Durability: 5 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5

Best jacket
February 23, 2012

I love this jacket the minute my sister showed me online. I own many jacket similar to this one like: the metropolis, the east village and the fiona from Patagonia. This has to be my best cause it has all the things I want like: not looking like a marshmallow in it and it keeps me warm with one light layer. I get cold very easy and that's the reason I own so many down coat but this is by far my best buy.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance
