My First North Face Product
For the past 7 years, I always wanted a North Face jacket. So, this past November I finally fulfilled my urge and brought this one since it's a well known for its' comfortableness and quality. I got a small and I love it, but it's a little big on me (the sleeves are a bit long on me, but they keep my wrists warm) since I'm 5'1 and weight 103 pounds. The best part is I get to wear a hoodie or sweater underneath for extra warmth.
Altrec is one of the best websites I have ever purchased from. Delivered on time and good deals.

Easy Christmas Shopping
I bought one of these for each of my daughters (ages 19 and 27).
They both loved it. The jacket fits true to size and it looks great on both of them. Delivery was quick. Thanks for making Christmas shopping so easy! I should add that I wouldn't mind having one for myself.

Love it!
This is a great "go to jacket" for those in-between days in Minnesota. The North Face is known for their durability and that is a must. I love the cut of this jacket--It is very flattering for a womans body. Not too "boxy".

Great jacket
The jacket is just as described. It fits true to size and light weight. However it keeps you warm when the weather is chilly, because it blocks the wind. And it is also good for layering for deep winter. I love it so much! I would recommend it to everyone.

Warm and cute to wear
The fit is a little bit but will be fine under a sweater or heavy top. Planning to use it bicycling and will be fine with the consruction and the zippered sleeves. Love the bright pink color. Will recommend it.

Great fit and very warm
This jacket looks and feels great, very soft. I like the fact that it is not too long so it gives a nice flattering look. Thin and packs nicely and best of all very warm.

Great style with many color choices. Fits true to size, but can see why some people have trouble with sleeve length. Not too bulky and great for overtop of other layers.

Perfect Camping Jacket
I bought this jacket for my wife to use on our camping trip up in Big Sur, CA this past Spring and it was perfect for the environment. This can easily be layered up once the weather cools down, but was comfortable to wear the whole time. It does, in fact, do a great job at blocking a lot of the wind. She's prone to getting chilly often and she commented on what a great job it was doing of blocking out the wind. She uses this jacket all the time whenever the weather calls for it. A great buy!

Good Deal
Got the jacket on sale and like it. Only issue with the jacket is that it runs alittle short. Otherwise the jacket is comfortable and warm. I would definetly recommend it.

Not a good fit
I own a few North Face jackets (Apex Bionic) and just love the fit, feel, etc. so assumed that this one would fit the same. I am about 5'6" and 130 lbs and have worn a medium in the apex bionic so assumed that this one would fit the same. It was way too big though and the overall feel of coat wasn't comfortable. My plan was to possibly exchange for a small but I went to a local store to try the small Windwall on and it was too small. So I had to return the jacket and then purchased another apex bionic instead elsewhere. Not at all impressed with this jacket and would not recommend it. Shipping to me and back to Altrec got pretty expensive.

Great Jacket
I have a couple of these jackets. They are wonderful, warm and wind proof but lighter weight than some jackets. The fit is perfect for me, I am tall, 5'10". I usually wear a medium or large depending on the cut or sizing of clothes. I got a large and the fit is good. The sleeves are nice and long. I love this jacket.

warmth & comfort
okay so i started my search on north face but it was too expensive. wanted something affordable but still providing the same exact item. i did my search here and bought my coat. i have long arms but i'm 5'6" so i got a large which fits perfectly.but if you want to be warm and comfortable for any day its great. but this is not meant for rainy days.

Right Jacket
Bought this jacket for my wife & she really loves it. The jacket really fits her frame(5 ft. tall). Protects her during a morning walk around the block which sometimes cold & windy. Definitely the right jacket for fall & spring season.

Great Deal!
This jacket is amazing. All Northfaces are but this is the best deal you can find on the internet for this jacket. Although the jacket is really snug and a little short. I am 5'5 and about 110 pounds and i thought it was pretty small. The bottom of the jacket only came to the top of my jeans. It is good for me, but it is small. My apex small is bigger than this small. I would recommend buying a size bigger than usual if you like your fleece's to be a little more roomy. You want to be able to move your arms so get a little bigger. But all in all Northfaces are the best around. They are the way to go and if you are thinking about getting one get it. This is as cheap as it will ever be! This is great quality. I am taking this northface to Europe with me for a year. So i think that says it is the best quality around.

Great Jacket
This was definetely a warm jacket! Although I am 5' 2" I choose the small and had to return due to the jacket being too short. If the jacket were a little longer I most certainly would have not returned it.

Love lightweight fleece
Not to heavy. Versatile fleece. Keeps me plenty warm and cozy. Can be worn with an extra layer for added warmth or alone. Love to slip it on after hot yoga. Love the color. I did get a large due to the comments that it runs a bit smaller. I like the fit. I a 5' 4" and 150 lbs. Fit is very flattering.

love this jacket
Bought this as my first North Face jacket . I love the outside fleece it's very soft. I'm hoping when I wash it the fabric won't get balled up as much. It's light weight, but doesn't feel cheap! The wind breaker fabric feels sturdy even though I haven't tested it. I'm sure it works. I think it's worth the money even though it's a tad bit pricey. Only down fall is the inside. It's a little rough, but I'm sure if you're wearing this jacket you'd have a sweatshirt or long sleeve on underneath. But that's not a huge biggy. Pockets are nice too! Can't wait to wear it in the spring and fall. It tends to get chilly and really windy up here.

Beautiful jacket. Fits well, and flatters my figure nicely. Keeps me warm without being too bulky. Its perfect for spring weather. After watching The Social Network, I knew I had to order one. I purchased the black/black and it looks exactly like the picture. This is a must have, you will not regret it.

I wear this alone, or layered with a fleece. Great for chilly fall days. Also it's great for travel, as it is lightweight and fits well in luggage. Love the fit of this.

Everyday Jacket
This is my first North Face jacket and I am very satisfied with it. It instantly became my favorite fleece jacket. It's lightweight and very comfortable. I got a lot of compliments from friends when wearing it. I used it most of the days when I do my morning walks. The fit is great, not bulky (I ordered medium size. I am 5'2" and 125 lbs.). Now I know why a lot of people prefer the North Face brand even if it is on the quite expensive side, GOOD QUALITY!

Great Jacket
The material has a high quality feel, and it does block wind very well for a material so thin and lightweight. I'm 5'4" and usually a size small and I found this fit true to size. The cuffs of the sleeves are elastic which helps to keep the warmth in. The zippers for the side pockets run high up the jacket - which is good for access, but I found let in a lot of cold air when you're walking on a windy day. As well, the mesh lining inside the pockets, though excellent for ventilation, provided no buffer against the draft. I found to keep warm I had to zip up the pockets and keep my hands in my jeans instead. The collar around the neck isn't very tall or fitted, so let in a lot of cold as well. To keep cozy on a windy walk, I would wear this either with a scarf and gloves or as an insulating layer under a windproof shell, and then it would be perfect.

Perfect buy for Michigan!!
This was my first purchase of a Northface jacket, and it was an excellent decision!! The jacket runs a little bigger than I was expecting but it worked out great because I was able to fit a hoodie underneath. I have no complaints about this jacket, infact I am getting ready to purchase another one. I really would recommend anyone to try this jacket!! I am very pleased!!

Great buy for the price!! This is one of my favorite north face jackets. I love that the jacket is light weight but so warm and wind proof. The only thing that would make this jacket better is if it were a little longer in length. I definitely recommend this jacket.

No Breeze
This jacket is the best ever on windy days. The material is stretchy enough to make the jacket very comfortable but definantly keeps the wind out. I also like the way the material holds it's shape after many days of wear.

Very versatile, warm jacket
Provides all the warm of a leather jacket with "thinness" of an insulated shirt. Can be worn alone in late winter/early spring or under a ski jacket during winter/extremely cold and/or windy days (I coordinated the color with a North Face Triclimate ski jacket I purchased). More often, I even wear the jacket in the house instead of putting on a sweater. Looks great and can be accessorized when going out or can be worn alone when running errands or going to the gym. Washes well, although I hang it to dry instead of putting it in the dryer. Only negative is that it's cut small (I'm very petite and ordered a small and it fits me with little excess room for bulky clothes) and is a little pricy, but in this case, you get a lot of quality for the price.

First North Face Purchased
This was my first North Face jacket that I bought for myself. I have gotten one for my husband long time ago and now I said I want one for myself. This jacket was really nice and good quality. The fleece was high quality, I already washed it and it still looks brand new. I am 5 feet tall and weigh 120 pounds, I got the small size and it was just right for me. The only thing is it's a little short in length if you want something that will cover your seat. It just fell right below the waist. But the neckline was perfect because if you zip it all up it covers your neck in the cold. I was actually debating between one with the hood or not, but this was keeping my neck warm and you won't need to wear a scarf. I would recommend this product and would love to buy other colors.

My roommate has a Windwall and I wanted a fleece that was less bulky than my Denali for warmer spring days, so I decided to try it. Her medium fits me well but I found that the medium I ordered was pretty snug. I always wear medium in jackets and my Denali is actually a boys XL because the women's small was too large. The jacket itself is awesome I just wish it fit better, so I will be reordering a large since Altrec doesn't do exchanges.

The Windwall is a good jacket for layering and in between seasons. It was a lot shorter in length than I expected it to be so I recommend going up one size if you like your jackets longer. But other than that, I love this jacket! It's so soft!

Great Jacket
This is a well made and comfortable jacket. I like that the sleeves are nice and long. It is soft, like the fleece jacket, with the addition of bing windproof. I also got one for my boyfriend and he loves it. I got the black for him which is actually a dark charcoal color. The weimaraner brown color is nice and fairly neutral but is definitely brown... not any color of grey (like the dog which I think is sort of a grey color).

Really blocks wind
This jacket really blocks the wind. I am a petite, 5"0 person weighing 92 lbs, and the XS fits me well. The jacket is warm because you don't feel any wind, even when biking. The only thing I can say that is not so great about it is the inside is sort of rough feeling, so if you wear just a t-shirt, the material on the inside isn't very soft on your arms.

Great Jacket for mild parts of winter
I have owned this jacket for 5 years in another color, and wanted a second color so I purchased it in chocolate brown.
Fit- I find that mostly the jacket fits true to size. I am average height and have a small frame, but I do have wide hips, and I feel that the sizes run tight in the hips. If you have a good set of hips, you may want to try a size up.
Warmth-I live in an area where winters are brutal, and I wear this jacket all fall and into winter, but once it gets down to the 20s I switch to a warmer jacket. I really enjoy this jacket for days where I will be running errands, in and out of stores and the car. It is perfect because it won't be too hot or bulky in a store, and the warmth and wind protection is enough for that short period of time.
Wind Protection-Casual winds and gusts are not even noticed, especially in the above 30 degrees F range. Once it starts to get colder than that this jacket isn't enough and it goes back in my closet.
Other-The fleece outside wears well, the jacket that I have had for 5 years doesn't shown any signs of wear, the zippers all still work perfectly. I have washed it inside out a few times, and I always hang dry, instead of putting in the dryer. The only issue is that it is a cream color and shows more dirt compared to other colors, so I wanted to get a dark color.

too short
i am 5'4" 115lbs and usually wear an XS in TNF. this jacket is too short in the body but somewhat long in the arms. the fabric on the other hand is lovely and nicer than i expected for being windproof. I will probably be returning this for a different jacket.

Great Gifts

Wind - I think NOT
Overall - good sturdy jacket. The sleeves are a bit long on the XS - but I'm 5' nothing and ...*measuring under my arm*... arm length is 18" from the armpit. But I'm still keeping this one! Once you zip it up to the neck, it's wind proof!! The only thing I didn't like was the vents in the pockets. If you keep the pockets unzipped, wind will find its way in. So I keep the pockets zipped :)

Fitted jacket, sleeves too long
Not what I was expecting for a fleece jacket. A little too fitted and the sleeves were way to long. I'm 5'5'' and usually have no problem wearing a med. This jacket did not work. I'll look for something else.

Overall Good Wind-Breaking Jacket
This is a pretty good light-weight windbreaker. It provides warmth in moderate temperatures, but must be layered for cooler weather. The fit (true to size) flatteringly outlines one's torso, which I appreciate. The outer shell is a brushed fleece, and the only concern I have with this jacket is that the fabric is slightly stiff, although the plusses outweigh this issue.

Does what it's supposed to & cute!
This is a great jacket for cool to cold temperatures in the fall and it does the intended job of blocking the wind very well. I'm very cold natured so if it's in the mid-40's and below, I need something else to keep me warm. However, I'm very pleased with this jacket. I'm 5'6" and 114 lbs and a small was just perfect with some room to layer things underneath. Nice and tailored look.

My first North Face
Great jacket although I do have to say that by no means this jacket is sufficient for colder temps like I was hoping. In the colder climate, this is more suitable for the spring/fall seasons. Having said that, I am still very happy with my purchase and will definitely purchase from Altrec ..... exceptional service! Great product
This is the second Women's Windwall 1 Jacket that I have purchased for my daughter. She likes to wear it for the cold protection when walking around campus. Washes very nicely and her old one still looks great, but she was ready for a new color. The colors have been true to how they appear on the website. Great product and great gift. Would recommend. Form Fitting and versatile
This is a nice form fitting, light but warm, windproof jacket that is stylish worn alone but can also be jipped into a vatiety of North Face Shells making for a more relaxed fit than the Denali when zipped in. It's great for walking about town, or for an athletic bike ride. It's such a bargain when on sale that it's worth it to get multiple colors.

Perfect for Cold Weather
I received it in the mail last week and I've worn it almost everyday. It came just in time for the cold. I ordered a small and it's pretty true to size. It's not too big but I still have room to throw on another jacket under. Perfect for layering!
Im 5'6 and the length is a little shorter than I expected. The bottom hits me just on the waist. So I'm thinking this may be a tad bit short in the torso area for anyone taller than me.
Pockets are nice and big. It has a lot of room for my phone, keys, and wallet.
Overall, I would highly recommend this product! Its a great jacket at a great price!

A great buy!
I am new in USA and this is exactly what I was looking for! keeps me very warm and the wind protection is great! Today wind was blowing like at 32 mph here and I did not feel a thing when I wore it. My only complaint would be though the sleeves are too long and wide for me. I am 5-2 and weigh around 100 lbs. I purchased an XS. Other than that I truly liked it!

This Northface jacket is just terrific. I purchased it for my daughter who is in college. She has long arms and the size I ordered fit her just right. She loves it and tells me that the fit is a good one. She wears this jacket most evenings, and it has become one of her favorites.

This is a great jacket in the wind. Warm and good fit. The fabric is a bit stiff and makes it not that comfortable on the inside, but no big deal if you have long sleeves underneath. Overall a good jacket for everyday use.

really is windproof!
I bought this jacket as a layering jacket for traveling because it seemed like it would be light weight and functional. I've been wearing it every day riding my bike in the wind in 40 degree weather and ive been warm and comfortable!! its a great jacket. my only complaint is that the sleeves are a little long. im 5'4 and usually a solid medium, it fits my body perfectly with room for a hoodie underneath. i like that the collar comes up high so i dont need a scarf. also a nice price for a high quality north face brand jacket. great jacket overall!!!!

Best Fall Jacket Ever
This jacket was a great buy. It not only fits comfortably, but keeps me warm even on days when it's below freezing. Another wonderful perk was the unbeatable price! I would recommend this jacket to anyone. It is an especially great jacket for college students and layers up well for long walks on campus. With its free and easy movement, it is also a great jacket to go for a run in as it moves well with the body. I wouldn't wear any other jacket during the fall!

Works (and looks) great!
I bought this windproof fleece for my wife a few weeks ago. Since then, she's been able to put it to the test in what's been a fairly windy (and often cold) Wisconsin November. Been hiking several times already, and she's been comfortable wearing it alone down to about 35 to 40 degrees, although probably not much below that. It's not baggy, so it fits nicely under her softshell or another jacket, which makes it part of a good layering system.
For such a thin, lightweigtht fleece, it really seems to do the job keeping out the wind and trapping warmth (and, again, perfect for layering). Nice and breathable, which is surprising given that it doesn't let much wind through.
I'd recommend the jacket to someone looking for a lightweight layering component that can be worn solo if desired. Plus, it looks fairly stylish, as well.

Women's Windwall 1
I love this jacket! This is the second one I've bought and I wear it all the time. It is the perfect lightweight jacket to get you through the fall weather and its easy to layer as it gets colder. When you wear it you can leave your purse at home because the zip pockets in the front have lots of room for your keys, cell phone and anything else you need on the go. The fleece material is super soft but hasn't faded or worn after lots of wearing and washing. The only downside I can think of is that the sleeves run a little long on me (I'm only 5'4 and purchased a M) so sometimes I have to roll them.
