Women's sleeping bags insulate better than unisex sleeping bags, so why shiver or toss and turn on a unisex sleeping pad? Luckily for us one of the best in the business recently developed the Women's ProLite 3 and ProLite 4 sleeping pads, some of the lightest and most comfortable compact mattresses anyone could haul into the wilderness or campground. The Thermarest Women's Prolite 3 is lighter and a half inch thinner than the Women's ProLite 4, making it perfect for three-season outings or snow trips if you're in a sleeping bag with a low thermal rating. Thermarest incorporated new lighter fabric and foam to reduce the overall weight by 25% without compromising the cushion. Along the bottom of the pad you'll find textured grip dots to minimize midnight slipping and sliding in a tent pitched on an incline. Keep in mind that the Women's ProLite 3 Sleeping Pad is 66 inches long, so if you're tall and don't like anything but padded cushion beneath your feet, you may need to consider the unisex ProLite 3 version over this one.

Very good quality, very light and compact and the bottom tread prevents it from moving. It does self inflate but I'm usually impatient and use a couple breaths to blow it up. Comfortable and much better than any foam pad, but if you're not concerned about a few ounces I would go with the 2 inch version for added comfort.
