Excellent!
I used this sleeping pad after always using air mattresses. my sleep quality was much better, I couldn't feel the cold seeping into my hips and shoulders and was even able to sleep on my side without discomfort. It was easy to inflate and easy to deflate. I pre-inflated it at home before the trip to "wake it up" a bit. I'm very satisfied. I can't comment on long term durability, but hope it will last a long time. The only qualm I have is there is no stuff sack, but I guess it's better to store it flat.

Nice comfort
Good combination: light weight, small footprint using less pack space and a fair price from Altrec. Will be used to traverse the the Grand Canyon in multiple seasons. Friends spoke highly of Thermarest products and Altrec making the choice easy.

Great pad. Very lightweight and comfortable while keepin me toasty. I am a 6'2" M and fit well on the pad. It's easy to roll up for storage and attaches easily to my pack. As for the slipping off the pad or the pad itself slidin on the tent floor, I have not experienced either even when the tent isn't on perfectly flat ground.

Comfy
Nice pad. Big step up for me so I am more comfy than ever before. Fits nicely in my pack and isn't too heavy. It self-inflates a bit but I always need to give it a bit extra. It is a bit pricey but I would say its worth it

Not Impressed
I bought the large and it had a leak in the seam after a month of use, about 4- 5 nights on it. I am 6'1 200lbs. And like most thermarests you slide right off it if you are not on level ground.

comfy non-slip
I've been using the prolite plus for two weeks straight and air is still holding and the non-slip is great. Self-inflation is slow but a few puffs was all it took to make it firm. The air valve is cheap although good enough.

great warmth and comfort
I used this on a backpacking trip in Ohio in late October. At night, it was in the 30s. I slept in a hammock and had this under me. Usually I can feel the air under me in the hammock but this formed a nice barrier from the cold. On the ground it's comfortable and warm also. My buddies all complained of how cold it was and I was the only one who was warm all night. The sleeping bag I had and what I was wearing was nothing special or different from what they had. IMO it was this pad that made the difference. One of my friends bought one of these after our trip because of that night.
The Prolite Plus is thicker than the Prolite however the Prolite packs much smaller. I got the Plus regular length because I have a big pack and would rather have the extra comfort. Also there's not much of a weight difference between the two. Blowing the matress up took all of one minute and the valve allows air to escape if the cap isn't screwed down. The under side of the matress has a gripping surface to keep from sliding out from under you. Overall, the construction seems solid. There was a time when I thought I would never sleep on one of these but I didn't realize how much more comfortable and warmer it is. I definitely recommend it. Only 4 stars for durability because I could see puncturing the matress but it would also be easy to repair. The seams look sturdy too. I think it's a little pricey but worth the comfort.

Best Pad
I don't usually replace my gear often so this upgrade was pretty significant. It strikes a great balance of comfort and weight.

Can't judge much yet, but seems very nice
I got the pad about two weeks ago and will not be using it until September. I did try it on the floor at my home and it seems very comfortable; it is much better than the basic Thermarest pad I've been using. It packs very small and is light, musts for bicycle traveling. It may be worth five stars, but I'm hesitant to give a top rating for a product I haven't put through the paces.

Great Pad
Very warm and comfortable. I can even sleep on my side and be comfortable. It packs down into a small diameter. Best pad ever.

Best Pad
This pad packs really small while still providing great comfort and insulation. I used it on a few trips and I slept excellent. Would recommend it to anyone looking for the best pad.

Great for snow camping
This is a nice evolution of previous models, the most recent of which was the Prolite 4. This is one of the best, if the not the best, self-inflaters on the market right now.

Easy comfort
Compresses easily to fit inside your pack. I unrolled the pad while cooking dinner. By the time dinner was done, the pad was inflated. The pad was comfortable to sleep on and firmness can be adjusted to your individual preference. This pad is a major improvement over my previous one.

Excellent
I was just on a canoe trip on the Colorado river and has a opportunity to use my new pad and it worked perfectly. Also the customer service that Altrec had given me was excellent. If you have ever camped on the Colorado River you know their is lots of rocks of varying sizes I couldn't feel any of them.

Great Pad
I recently got this pad and tested it out on my concrete deck. I slept just fine. The 3/4 length is a nice compromise between a true ultralight pad and a full length pad. This pad compresses down extremely small, which is nice. I opted for this instead of the ProLite (not plus) because it added slightly more weight/size for better insulation.

No complaints
Used the pad on Whitney and GC. Temps were pretty warm so I cannot comment on that part of it, but was happy with pads weight and compactness.

Heaven in a Roll
Having just gotten back from the Yukon using the ProLite 3, I promptly sold it and bought this thicker version. The added comfort at the end of a long day on hiking and climbing is well worth the slight weight disadvantage. The only factor about this product that is less than superlative is the durability and puncture resistance.

This is the sleeping pad you need.
Great comfort in a very small, light-weight package. I was skeptical when I first opened the tiny package, but was pleasantly suprised when I tested it out. (works great on hardwood floors too) Fast set-up, easy pack away. Great for motorcycle travel.

Great two nights sleep, looking forward to many more
I purchased the ProLite 4 as a backpacking pad and got to use it last weekend. I wasn't sure if it's compact size would handle my needs for a good night sleep but it came through. Easy to inflate, easy to pack I would recommend it to anyone. I have tried it on two fairly diverse surfaces so far without any complaints.

Light and comfy
Does exactly what its designed to do. Light weight, compact and relatively comfortable.

Comfort in a small package.
A backpacking must have. Not only is it comfortable but it also keeps you a little warmer. It self inflates once you roll it out and then you can blow it up for added firmness. With this there is no need to sacrifice comfort when backpacking.
