My husband wants nothing but Timberland Pro Workboots for work and at home.It's hard for me to find his large and wide size but Altrec had them. Also,I had no trouble exchanging them when I forgot to order waterproof boots. Thanks Altrec.

Lightweight/comfortable work boots

I've been buying Timberland titan pro work boots for almost 10 years. These feel like hiking boots with the added safety of the steel toe. waterproof or not, I've walked in puddles and snow while working and have never gotten wet feet. I work in construction, so I beat them up pretty good. I typically get over a year out of each pair before the soles start wearing down. Keep in mind, I'm beating them up on a construction site daily, they would easily last longer if not for that. Overall the best boot for all day wear at work. A great balance of lightweight, flexibility and durability.

Finally a size 15 work boot that I didn't spend weeks breaking in. They fit from day one, are comfortable. I got them in black and don't look bad at all (my girl friend lets me wear them when we go out)

Perfect Work Boot

I buy these work boots for both my husband and son and they are the only work boots they wear now. They both need boots with steel toes and these are very light weight which is huge. My husband notices the difference between these and the regular weighty steel toe boots. His legs don't seem to feel so tired from lugging around the extra weight. They are also very comfortable and durable as they can usually get two years out of them compared to almost a year from competitors boots. They fit true to size. They have tried several other brands, some quite pricey looking for boots that will last and give them comfort for being on their feet all day and these boots are the winner hands down!

My husband needed boots for work that are much lighter than the standard boots that are provided to him from work. These were everything we expected: they match required standards, were light, and fit as required. The time will tell on the durability.

Titan 6" work boot

This is my forth pair of these boots. They normally last me about 2 years and there are very few days that I don't wear them 10 to 12 hours under every working condition you can immagine. I keep buying them because right out of the box they feel like I've been wearing them for weeks. (No break-in required.) I'm 66 years of age and need comfort and these fit the bill for me plus they give me protection when I drop things on my feet. I still work hard every day in construction. My only complaint is the leather over the steel toe. It is a little thin and tends to wear out quickly when roofing. I also like the support that the 6" boot gives without confining my movement. I also like the speed tie (they don't finish the last cross tie with an eylet, saves a lot of time fumbling to get the lace through that last hole). A perfect match for me and my daily tasks. Altrec really delivered the goods quickly and in excellent condition way before I expected them. Great job.
