Description

Built from the bones of the original Timberland work boot, you'll find a few noteworthy updates to the Men's Timberland PRO® 8 Inch Waterproof Soft Toe Work Boots. First and foremost is the seam-sealed waterproof character of the new boot, followed closely by the addition of toasty warm 400 gram weight Thermolite® insulation. Your foot will rest upon an open-cell polyurethane footbed with Agion® antimicrobial treatment for odor control. The boot's mesh lining has also been treated against odor. A blown thermoplastic midsole provides cushioning and support, and a nylon shock diffusion plate adds torsional rigidity. The boot's Timberland PRO® oil-resistant, non-marking rubber outsole features rugged lugs for dependable traction. If you spend the better part of your day on your feet, you owe it to them to wear the PRO® 8 Inch Waterproof Soft Toe Work Boots for men from Timberland.

Timberland Boots
January 11, 2010

Favorite footwear. Keeps the feet comfortable, warm and protected. I wear them to and from the office as well. A Timberland 'dress-shoe' would be perfect !

I would give this a great number 5. It was a timberland boot. Other places were more expensive in a store and online. I found shipping was ok too. It was free due to the fact I had spent over a certain amount. I would recommend this place to anyone who needed stuff from Altrec.com

Great boots. Very comfortable and true to size fitting. I expect these boots to last quite a long time. I ordered one pair with a soft toe(dark brown) and one pair with a steel toe(wheat color) and unfortunately have to return the steel toe. My toes are very squished with the steel toe. The two different pairs of boots fit quite differently. Altrec's return policy is unbeatable so I don't expect any complications. The steel toe pair I'm returning will be replaced with another pair of the soft toe boots in the wheat color.

Pros: Build quality, Great value

Niceboots
October 21, 2010

These run large. I had to get a 12 instead of my usual 13. These are very warm, waterproof, good looking boots, and quite comfortable. I can't attest to durability yet, but they seem like high quality leather boots. If you are considering them, will be out in very cold weather, and think you'd wear them, I recommend them. I think you should ask yourself if you will be out in cold weather weather for long periods of time, or if you often have cold feet in the winter before you buy them.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value

Great all-around boot!
November 16, 2009

After much searching, I finally found the perfect boot - suited for working around the house and bad weather. The boots are comfortable, durable and stylish, and I've been told I can get away with wearing them with jeans out to dinner.

Boots you can count on
November 16, 2010

These boots are worn outside every day in any kind of weather for work and are the most durable I've come across. They're tough and reliable and give me the support I need for working on my feet all day. They're definitely worth the money (other, cheaper brands just don't cut it) and Altrec always has the best price out there. Thanks Altrec, for providing outstanding service.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great value

Excellant quality
January 09, 2010

My husband has only worn these boots for work and at home(work) for the past ten years. Twice a year I buy them, one pair to get dirty at his work and the other for when he needs a cleaner looking pair. It's the only kind of boot he'll ever consider.

Not for an Everday workboot!!!
December 30, 2009

I had to send 2 pairs of these boots back for warranty coverage. Each pair was less than 6 months old and very, very, lightly used. The first pair had stitching pulling apart. The second pair was not waterproof as advertised. The quality of Timberlands has signifcantly declined in recent years. They honored each warranty with not problem, but I had to pay for shipping their defective boot to them. The rubber sole wears out easy, and the boots scuff/scratch/scrape easier than most higher quality brands. I will not be buying another pair of timberlands again. If you want a boot to work as advertised, I would try another brand.

I have been buying these boots for years. They are the most comfortable work boots I have ever worked in. Only negative is that I wear out the sole quickly!

8" Tim-Pro's
September 18, 2010

I'm a contractor and live in my boots 12-14hr a day. Over the past 8yrs I have only owned Red wings @ 249 a pair. I bought these $80.00 - 8" Timberland Pro's 9 months ago and wanted to give them a fair beating before I wrote a review and put my name on them. The Pro's are great boots soft and comfort able from day 1 no break in period needed. Made it through the winter feet stayed DRY & WARM. And through the summer my feet didn't sweat Now 9 months later the soles are starting to wear through but once again I'm hard on my boots RW's soles didn't last much longer and at $169.00 more I'm a Timberland guy now. Buy these boot with confidence

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value, comfort, breathable, durable, Cons: wish they had lase hooks
