Great Boots
February 10, 2011
My 11 year old Timberland boots finally fell apart and I decided to purchase these boots. What a great decision to buy these boots. These Timberland Pro Endurance boots are not only durable with their hard plastic/rubber toe, but they are also very comfortable to walk in. They only con is that they are probably the heaviest pair of shoes I have ever owned, but I can deal with it if it means a durability.

Bought these in July 09 and they got worn fairly continuously during summer months. I work in construction and that I'm only now looking for an new pair says they have lasted pretty well. The fist damage they sustained was about a year in when the foam/plastic top part of the right heel ripped from the leather at the back while I was putting the boot on (pic 1). Annoying, but cosmetic damage only. The second thing to go was the heels that wore through to reveal some kind of interior padding, but this didn't seem to compromise waterproofing (pic 2). Now the leather upper has become detached from the rubber sole on the inside of the left boot - this is terminal, but down to use and old age (pic 2). Overall very good, very comfortable boots that have taken a beating and lasted well. They are quite heavy, but feet feel well protected.
Altrec Great buy + Great shoe = A satsfied returning customer
February 21, 2010
I bought many work shoes over the last 20+ years as a shop fitter/welder. From Red Wing, Hy-test, Wolverine, all the top brands with top prices and non have yet to match the comfort of these boots. I spend 10+ hours ON MY FEET at work w/ nerve damage in one foot, comfort is paramount barring no expense in my book. I hit the bulls eye with these boots and split the arrow w/ the price. They felt soft, already broken, in its freakish. In every Boot/shoe store I've walked into over the years I asked for their most comfortable steel toe,(a contradiction). The last few have netted me Timberlands and have bought nothing else since. Well Timberland has Outdone themselves again. I now buy them online because there's no need to try them on. My 12w's fit the same every time. I'm sold.
Overall - A great boot with a low-quality insole

I am a meter reader for a utility, so I put a lot of miles in each day. 30 days in on these boots, waterproofing is holding up good (Several downpours), and they are comfortable (a tad bit heavy). The issue is the insoles on both boots are already developing holes at the ball of my foot, and is very irritating to my feet.! This is surprising as this is at least the 4th pair of Timberlands I've had and this has never happened before. I did not buy the boots here at Altrec, and the store told me they would replace them under Timberlands 30 day-guarantee. This seems very wasteful as Timberland could just replace the insole, so I went to Walmart and bought gel insoles. We will see how it goes. I also am noticing the sole is wearing quickly..Still, even with these issues, I have not found a better boot brand than Timberlands
Great pair of summer work boots
April 01, 2012
I recently purchased a pair of Men's Endurance PR 6 Inch Steel Toe Work Boots and like the other reviews said, they are very comfortable to wear all day. The sole is non-marring for indoors but durable to wear on asphalt or concrete and in the woods. Good traction in the snow but being uninsulated my feet were cold @ 35 degrees (wearing steel toe work socks) after a few hours. Great summer boot! The boots weigh 3 pounds each which I thought might be an issue but you get used to them after the first day. The added weight comes from the steel shank but you will not have a nail go threw your foot. The overall quality of the boot is excellent and has all the built in protection features I required. I would recommend this boot to my friends and coworkers.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, rubber coated toe, Cons: heavyFeel great on my feet

I work in the construction trade and spend countless hours on my feet, these boots are the most comfortable I have had. I hope to keep these boots for a long time. I would recommend them to anyone in the construction trade.
Good Boots But Lasts Up To 6 Months
December 12, 2010
I bought these boots back in february, and started wearing them in March. The boots are designed well and looks good out of the box. The price for the boots on Altrec was the best I could find. They beat the lowest price I found by 20.00. The boots are mostly waterproof up to the lacings. They were kind of heavy though but very comfortable on the feet. I walk all day with these boots and at first, they felt great. But once the 6 month mark hit, my feet started hurting. I figured the insoles wore out, so I bought some Dr. Scholes Gellins but it didn't help. I'm in the market for some new boots and might get these again but will only wear them for about 6 months the most. That's the only negative on the boots, they will last up to 6 months with normal wear. Keep that in mind when purchasing. Also the soles on the bottom kinda wore down alittle, but that was expected.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Cons: Wears quickly, last up to 6 monthsAwesome boots

I purchased these boots because i work in the heat and winters can be brutal. these are awesome when you're constantly walking on job sites on concrete. They are not only comfortable but adjust well to the weather and probably one of the best boots i've ever had out of about 20 pair. If you walk a lot all day and need the comfort as well as something to absorb moisture then these are the ones you need. I recommend these to all in the construction industry. These are very lightweight and no burning after a long day.

Durable boot

Men's Endurance PR 6 Inch Steel Toe Workboot redefines comfort one layer at a time. The exclusive multi-layer footbed includes five layers that provide all-day comfort and odor control. In addition to the incredible comfort, the small details like polycarbonate hardware-so your laces don't fray-allow you to focus on your job and not your feet.

Night and Day difference from my old boots...
August 10, 2010
Replaced a pair of Wolverine steel toes. The Wolverines required me to wear two pairs of socks to avoid blisters all over my feet. The Timberlands don't and are hands down on a total different level in regards to comfort. I work construction so I'm on ladders, boiling hot roofs, on my hands and knees(rubber caps will keep the boots in tact). They are a solid all around boot. My only criticism is that they loosen up quick. So be prepared to tighten up those laces. Only

Excellent boots! Very comfortable!!

I am very pleased with the boots. They are extremely comfortable. Finally, my feet aren't killing me at the end of the day. However, one of the shoestrings was frayed and will probably not last long.
Great boots!!!

Great boots. I have been wearing them for 2 years now. I wouldn't try another boot.
Very suprised with results!
June 26, 2010
Let me start off to say that I have never been a fan of cement constructed boots, until now. I have worn many brands such as Redwing, Justin, Vasque and Wolverine looking for an out of the box "broke in" safety toe boot. Cement constructed boots never last as long as stitched boots, but these are holding great compared to other brands. The anti-fatigue footbed is the most awesome feeling because I do a lot of walking on hot concrete and asphalt for up to 14 hours per day. The only drawback I could see is the slip resistance. I often walk through slick quarry tile floors, and these seen to slide a bit when compared to Redwings which to me has 10+ stars for slip resistance. Other than that I will buy these again and again if they hold up over time.

I purchase this pair of work boots due to the construction of the boot, durability and comfort. It does run a tad larger than the Pit Boss 6 inch steel toe work boots.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, PerformanceExcellent So Far
May 06, 2010
I bought these boots about 2 weeks ago and have found them to be excellent. They are the most comfortable steel toe boots I have ever tried which is saying a lot since I have worked in heavy construction for 40 years and have tried a lot of them. I am getting older and have some foot problems (morton's nueroma) which these are helping with nicely. They are physically heavy and very serious boots but excellent for heavy work which is what I do. My only suggestion is to include more width options than just wide and regular. I selected the wide width but would have liked them a bit wider.
second time around!!!
