You really can't even begin to think about workplace safety without first looking toward the Timberland Men's Flexshield Internal Met Guard Hiker Steel Toe Workboot. The Met Guard Hiker boots, wiith their AS™ approved protection and other great safety features are the ideal work boots for the most hectic of jobsites. Featuring a sleek, athletic-inspired design with full-grain leather uppers, Timberland built the boots to be rugged, protective and tough while still allowing you total freedom of movement. 3M Scotchlite reflective materials are integrated into the uppers, providing 360 degrees of reflectivity, thus increasing visibility. The hidden nylon webbing lace system and contoured tongue work together to offer a snug but comfortable fit free of lace pressure. But enough about the laces, you probably want to know more about that metatarsal protection we mention. The metatarsal is the top of the foot and is not protected by normal safety toes. But you'll be happy to know that Timberland has fitted these boots with internal, anatomically contoured metatarsal guards that meet both AS™ F2412-05 and AS™ F2413-05 MT 75 standards. These boots are also equipped with AS™ F2413-05 M I/75 C/75 rated steel safety toes to provide the same great protection you've come to expect. These boots also offer protection from electrical hazards and have non-slip, oil-resistant outsoles. Now that safety's been covered let's move on to comfort. The compression-molded EVA sole inserts offer excellent cushioning and shock absorption. The anti-microbial, open-cell polyurethane footbeds cushion your feet while killing the bacteria that cause unpleasant odors and the Outlast adaptive comfort footbed covers help regulate interior temperature. The steel shanks provide essential arch support. With their AS™ certified steel toes and metatarsal guards, along with the plethora of other safety and comfort features, these boots are the boots for you.
