Description

You don't have to belong to a yacht club or even own a boat to enjoy the comfort and hand sewn moccasin construction in these Timberland Classic 2 Eye Boat Shoes for men. These casual and comfortable shoes feature an oiled, full-grain, hand sewn leather upper that wears well over many seasons of fair and foul weather. The classic and proven 360-degree rawhide lacing system wraps around your foot slightly below the ankle, so you keep your Timberland Classic 2 Boat Shoes on your feet until you're ready to remove them at the end of the day. Timberland stitched the leather upper to the rubber midsole and outsole on the inside of the upper, eliminating the hassles of exposing--and fraying--the threads with extended use. Beneath this low-slung footwear is a non-marking rubber sole that grips wet surfaces while channeling away excess water. This enhanced traction is ideal for walking on damp boat decks, or making your way along slick, rain-soaked wooden piers. If you enjoy classic styling and have a fashion sense for maritime tradition, you'll like the cut of the jib on Timberland's bestselling and timeless boat shoe.

My first pair of boat shoes. Very nice design, I ordered 10w and they were very tight, I stuck a sand wedge inside and left overnight, They are now very comfortable, great shoe.

I have been buying this same shoe for over 12 years now. I can order it online and wear it out for a walk in the park or in downtown immediately after it arrives. No break in, no heel issues, no nothing. It is lightweight and a great summer travel shoe, that you can take to the beach, to the museums, to dinner. I have normal/narrow width feet and it fits perfectly. As long as they don't make any changes to the design, I will continue to buy them.

Pros: comfortable, practical

Classic

I have been wearing these Timberland boat shoes since the early 90's. They are consistantly superior to other boat shoes. I can really beat up my shoes and these shoes seem to last twice as long as others I have had in the past. Love the color, love the fit, love the quality. Buy these shoes, it won't disappoint.

great boat shoe
April 13, 2011

I have been wearing boat shoes since college days, a long time ago. Timberland is a good brand and whose shoes are durable, comfortable and good looking. I am of average height and take a 10 w and they fit perfectly. They can be worn without socks as well and are just as comfortable. I use them extensively in the summer and prefer them over sneakers. I would recommend them to anyone who favors the style and comfort of boat shoes.

I love Timberland shoes
April 03, 2011

I love Timberland shoes. They are so comfortable directly out of the box and they stay that way. I've used their sandals exclusively so decided to try their boat shoes. They were so well constructed compared to other boat shoes I had looked at and their proprietary inner sole makes them a joy to wear. Shoe is slightly wider and a 1/2 to a full size longer than marked.

Really like these shoes ! Cute, different, and great sneaker alternative. Inside of shoe is fun with a colorful pattern. Works with jeans and capris. Great footwear until sandal season.

30 Year Classic
August 06, 2010

I've been wearing these classic boat shoes for 30 years and still love them. It would be nice if Timberland ever brought back the plain white sole (that was discontinued about 10 years ago) or returned to the seam quality they used to have. Recently, the thread just disintegrates and the shoes just fall apart after a year of hard use.

The best boat shoes!
June 25, 2010

Shoes fit perfectly right away. I'm not sure they are quite a well made as those Timberland shoes made years ago, but they are far and away better than most brands of boat shoes.

The best for out in the garden and yard.....get them wet hundreds of times...the only shoe that holds up for 4-5 years in these conditions

Fab!
August 29, 2009

These are as good as it gets with boat moccasins. I have a half-dozen pair. The only thing I would prefer is a white sole but I haven't ever seen these with white soles. Maybe Timberland can do a white-sole version. The beauty of these shoes is there is no stitching on the soles that would otherwise let water seep in. The key is a midsole to which the outsole is cemented.
