I usually wear a size 8 and my right foot is closer to 8.5. Ordered size 8 and these were way too big. So big that my foot would slide around so much that it slides forward and bangs the toes into the front. Even with a pair of superfeet insoles and thicker socks. Another downside was that they feel 'clunky' and heavy. I saw another review that said that this feeling went away over time. on the plus side, they are very nice looking and well made boots. They actually look like a decent pair of shoes, and the tread looks very good for walking on ice/snow. They also seems very warm. If they could get the sizing worked out it looks like it would be a great boot. The side zip is also real nice for easy on/off

Got these boots just in time for the 14 inch snow. They never failed me. They were comfortable, warm, and dry. Good boot along with Altrec's excellent price and free shipping!

Very nice books, surprisingly warm without the bulk. Keep your feed dry on snowy days. Overall a very nice boot for the price for running around town. The sizes are a little narrow but manageable.

These are some of the best snow boots I've tried. The price is right for these true to size boots. Are very warm and are very comfortable. The fact they have a side zipper for easy entry is a plus as is the fact they also come in different widths for the wider foot. Highly recommended.

I bought these boots for a trip to Park City. They're warm, extrremely comfortable, and kept my feet dry trudging through snow and icy slush. Also the side zipped makes getting the boots on and off going through airports really easy. Great boots at a great price! Highly recommended.

I needed water proof and at the same time warm boots as I was going to Vancouver, BC, where the temperature was around freezing point. After two weeks of research I found Timberland Rime Ridge and never regreted. The only one thing is that the sizes are misleading. Usualy my size is about 10, but in this case I had to buy 8.5

Got my boots quickly. Great service from Altrec. I was really excited and looking forward to another brutal Chicago winter with my new boots. Unfortunately 2 weeks into wearing them they pull on tab on the back tore off, also the throat of the boot was a little small which made on and off too difficult (maybe that's why they tore, duh!). I'm returning them but will definitely buy again from Altrec as the 100% guarantee makes it worth it. In fact I'm getting a different pair of boots to replace the ones i'm returning and I get a 20% discount!

Good boot but runs large

These are very nice cold weather boots but they do run a bit big. I normally wear an 11 or 11.5 and ordered the 11 and they are too loose in the foot area even with my heavy hunting socks. I will try the 10.5 to see how that feels.

I have only had the boots for about 3 weeks and just came back from Canada with weather as low as 20 below. I wore only one pair of socks and my feet were never cold. The boots are stylish as well. My only complaint is that they are a little heavy until you get used to them.

I felt these boots were very big and felt clunky to the point where they made me walk differently. I am sending them back and trying something else. They were warm though.

This shoe not only looks good, but it's waterproof and extremely comfortable. I played with my son in these in snow for about 3 hours straight and my feet remained warm and just barely got wet on our second round outside!
