Loving this bag!
I really love this bag. I had been contemplating getting one, and when Altrec had a 20% off offer, I pounced at the chance to get it cheaper than if I had gone directly on Timbuck 2's sight. First of all this is one the most comfortable bags I've ever owned. You can fit a lot inside just the small bag. Oh and the service you get at Timbuck 2 is great. When I got the bag the buckle was broken, so I called and within a week I had a new buckle, no worries, no hassle.
I'm looking forward to a long future with this bag.

Best bag!
It took a while to get use to the switch from a bookbag to a messenger bag but it was so worth it. The bag is amazing! The small is the perfect size for everyday use and for school.

Carry Everything in Style
I got this bag for my girlfriend who's a massage therapist - she needs to bring 2-3 sets of sheets plus other gear to the office daily, and she bicycles there. This bag does the trick, rain or shine, of carrying her load comfortably, efficiently, and completely weather proof!
She is also looking forward to using this as a travel bag, and it's dimensions are great as a larger carry on.

Best Messenger I've Ever Bought!
I've looked at Timbuk2 bags before, but never got one. Once I bought this one, I wished I had years ago. I'm not the first to say, but I concur, this is the best, and last, bag you'll ever get.

Minimalist gear bag.
Recently put Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag (sm) on a library to brewery commute. Held all my identity bits (wallet, phone and hat) and chemistry book (huge), spiral notebook and Dell Latitude D620 (power cord and wireless mouse) snugly/securely around my shoulder. I dub thee a perfect urban buddy.

Great for everyday commuting!
I bought the size small messenger bag, which is the perfect size for me! I can fit what school books I need in there, as well as anything else I may need throughout the day, with no problems at all. I love the compartments inside and the waterproof liner works great. I've lugged groceries around in my bag (sans books), while on my bike..it stays in place perfectly. Also, Altrec's customer service is superb! They are easy to contact if you have a problem and are more than willing to help you promptly solve it. I look forward to making my next purchase from the website soon.

Great bag for everyday or travel
I like to use this as my carry on bag when I travel because it has lots of pockets for multiple items. It is also nice because it is large enough to put magazines in it, plus other items. It is great as an everyday bag. I wish it just same with padding for the strap.

Very happy with the bag
Great size, durable, looks great. I use it for the gym and when I go to work via train. Waterproof inside so great for taking to the pool also.

Great bag!
Very satisfied with my new messenger bag. It has lots of pocket that fit my phone, ipod, wallet, bus pass & sunglasses, etc. Just love it!

Classic Messenger Bag ( Medium )
Timbuk2 definitely makes a high quality product. The bag is extremely functional and very durable. You will absolutely get a lot of wear and tear out of this one. However, because of the size of the classic messenger and the potential to hold so many things, you would think that Timbuk2 would already include a shoulder strap with the bag, right? Go figure. I also wish that there was a size in between the medium and small. That said, overall, it's still a very functional bag.

Classic Messanger bag
I really like my messenger bag, it's great for class and hauling books all over campus. Although, one aspect I think would add a ton to the bag is a padded shoulder strap, my books are heavy therefore my shoulder would like a little lovin'..

A great, classic, good looking bag for almost any occasion.
This is a really great bag. I have the black one and so far I love it. It works for lugging around my stuff and stuff for my three kids, plus it works well as a work-type bag for job interviews and everyday trying-to-look-professional attempts. The only thing I wish it had that it doesn't (and this isn't a huge deal) is some kind of pad at the top of the shoulder strap so there would be a little extra comfort on your shoulder when you've got a heavy load. Otherwise, it's perfect!

Great bag for on the go
Great trave Bag, holds all my electronics, camera, phone, extra set of clothes, seperate pockets to store it all away including pockets on outside under the flap which are great for passport, wallet, and airline tickets for easy access.

better than a backpack
More than a fashion statement - a great way to haul your stuff whether by land, sea, or air - comfortable on a bike ride - but also works on a grocery shopping trip.
