Timex ironman
January 03, 2012
I have had this watch for maybe 2 years (after previously purchasing 2 of the same watch because they got waterlogged within 1 week of purchase). This watch, if it is underwater for more than a minute or 2, water gets inside it. The heat from my wrist makes it evaporate and condense on the inside screen. I usually have to take it off for 2 days so it can evaporate completely. The front glass has always been cracked in the corner and recently, part of the purple front casing cracked, got caught on something and broke off. Then when i got in the hot tub and took it off as soon as i got in (so to say it only got dipped in very quickly) it got waterlogged and hasnt fixed itself yet. My 2 previous watches like this got waterlogged and the screen completely disappeared. It still beeped every hour, though. Other than this, i love this watch. It has a long backlight time, very user friendly and so light and slim i dont ever take off the watch!
Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGreat Watch

I received the silver Ironman with the decorative flower as a gift! Both the looks and the function of the watch have exceeded my expectations. I have used it for a month steadily and have found the watch comfortable to wear. I am an active ourdoorswoman so am quite tough on watches. This one is so well made, I have no doubt that it will perform.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGreat running watch

I always buy Timex running watches - usually this same model. This time I went for the the cute floral pattern and I really like it. Can't go wrong with this watch.
Great Watch!

I have used this watch now for a little over two months, and it has been the perfect training watch for my triathlon training. It has loads of features for every athlete, and it seems to hold up very well, even in the water. The nice thing about this workhorse is that it doesn't look like a terrible clunker; it is sleek and feminine.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Cons: CostDid you recently buy the Timex Ironman 50-Lap Sleek Watch - Mid-Size? Write a review.
Pretty good

I like the way this watch looks. Reviews I read indicated that the band may wear out, but so far so good. I'll just be running with it, and I think it's great for that.
Functional, fun, and stylish

I have trained in ironman watches for years, starting with the men's version (before they made a women's). This is by far the prettiest. I wear it with dresses as well as for work outs and receive many compliments, especially on the floral pattern. Only down side, these watches are getting a little pricey!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: CostGood form factor

Bought this watch to use the timer function. I injured myself while running, and my PT told me to ease back into training by doing 5 min run and 5 min walk and repeat. Set the timer, and was able to hear the alarm even in heavy traffic. The watch itself is nicely designed, with holes on the strap for breathability. It's also extremely lightweight that I don't notice it on my wrist. Have been using it for a few months, and never had an durability issues. I take care not to get it wet, since some reviewers on some other site seem to be concerned. Overall, a nice and simple watch, and I'd recommend it.
