Great Bag for a Woman!
January 18, 2012
This bag serves as a replacement for the Athalon Everything bag I currently own. The Athalon bag is excellent in terms of capacity. Problem is, it is VERY big and cumbersome. Another problem with that bag is that the straps don't adjust to fit a smaller body frame, so it hung off my shoulders. I tried out the Transpack Sidekick this past weekend and LOVED it. I was able to fit it in the charter bus I take to the slopes (just had to pop out the helmet and boots to fit in the overhead bin. The straps are fully adjustable so I was able to cinch it down to my frame. I was able to fit my size 11 boots, helmet, insulated ski pants, Camelback hydration pack, fleece top, base layer bottoms, gloves, socks, & light lunch. I'm 5'10" & 145lbs and this worked great for my frame.
Pros: Great design, Ease of useJust the right size

I frequently travel with my ski gear. This pack is a perfect carry-on for my helmet and boots. I only have to check my ski bag. It is big enough to fit extra gear (gloves, goggles, etc.) but not too bulky that it doesn't fit in the overhead compartment.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of useTranspack SIDEKICK Pro 1 Boot Bag Photo
