4.4 out of 5

comfortable with a cool lacing system that keeps them nice and tight. plus the gore-tex membrane to keep water out works (me and a buddy poured a bottle of water on them and my socks were dry). they're durable in all the right places. im usually a size 10.5 or 11, with these i ended up with an 11, my toes would hurt from hitting the front of the 10.5 pair. good shoes.

I don't know why Treksta doesn't have a national ad for their shoes. The fit is awesome. Right out of the box, no need to break them in, my toes did not hurt at all. The winding shoelace system is extremely efficient, they ought to have that for every shoe!:)
Better than the ORIGINAL

I've had 2 pairs of the original KOBRA GTX, loved 'em. The two things that need improvement on them seem to be fixed. The soles delaminated after 6-8 months of use. These new ones have a whole new type of sole~ can't imagine it falling apart. The new ones also appear to be even more water resistant!! And on top of it, the BOA system is quieter and smoother. The BOA just lets the shoe grab your foot.... evenly tightened.

These shoes fit very well & were very comfotable after they were broken over a few days. I normally wear a size 10.5, but bought an 11 to be able to wear some heavier socks & they felt great. I work outside on a daily basis with sports teams & need a pair of waterproof shoes to keep from getting wet, cold feet. They would have fit that purpose well, but the BOA lacing system failed on both shoes on the same day. I didn't put these shoes through any extreme challenges, just wearing them on a sports field on rainy days. They saw no trails (have dedicated hiking boots for that# & no extremes in weather #just a few rainy days in the spring#, but both dials of the lacing system ceased to function in <3 months of occasional use. This is my 2nd pair of shoes with the BOA lacing system #other pair was another brand purchased 2 years ago# & my 2nd pair of failures in about the same time frame. I've kept the other pair #couldn't return them# & replaced the dial with a repair kit from BOA, but for the price of these Kobras I was expecting much better wear. Yes, I could've bought another repair kit, but I don't think I should have to do that for the price & as little time as I got out of them. Altrec was amazing as usual with their return policy & I purchased another pair of Gore-Tex shoes which have been holding up much better #no BOA).

first i lookd about the shape and these was the nicest one that i found and then when i checkd the material and the way was made i bought it without questioning twice. once i got them and tryed them on BINGO they match the best my expectation, not too havy , water proof, good looking, confortable, and really eazy to put them on and take them off... the best and i really recomend them.
