Tula Hat
Very good hat with a wide brim. Exactly like I expected. I've only had this for a couple of weeks so I can't speak for the durability, but I believe it will hold up to hot sun and abuse.

Truly Great Sun Hat!
Just the shape and style I've been looking for, with great "Tula" long-lasting quality. It passed the trial period on some long hot days working in our garden and at the Farmer's Market and it's the real deal. Unless you have a really large head the size S/M will suffice. The L/XL should really be labeled only XL.

Finally--A Perfect Hat
I didn't think I'd ever find a hat I liked--until now! I love the Tula Gardener hat! The brim is wide enough to shield my eyes, cool enough to wear it in direct sun & cute enough to wear anywhere. It is very well made & fits my 22 3/4" head perfectly--definitely worth the price. I also experienced excellent service from Altrec & would order from them again.

Great gardening hat
The hat was a birthday present for my daughter. She has raved about it saying how well made it is and very attractive. Just what she wanted.

Just perfect size - exactly what I looked for!!
I first saw this hat in an add for another company selling this brand but this hat was not listed. I searched and found it at Altrec.com - great find!!! Size is perfect- just what I wanted after a long search.

Very disappointed in product.
Wanted to love this. The item I received had a ring of vent holes around the top of the hat, and had a yucky orange-y color and lots of little "twigs" sticking out of it. If I had seen this hat in the store I wouldn't have looked twice at it. The elastic headband inside was very nice and soft, but even the L/XL hat felt short (it was well above my ears) which might have turned out fine if I'd kept it. Overall: poor quality and not as advertised.

Friend loved it. Great for face cover
Bought two Tula hats. One was for my friend one was for my sister. The one for my friend was great she loves it. But the one for sis was not the right one. Brim to short, so , I sent it back for lifeguard version. 5inch brim Few hats have this big of brim for those of us who need to keep the complete face out of the sun. Even the lips can be covered with this hat

I *really* like this hat. Sizing can be a bit tricky.
I really like this hat. The quality of the construction, the design combining a wide-brim - excellent sun protection - with some fashionable style. I ordered S/M thinking with unisex sizes any hat that fit a man's x-large head would be a hat too big for me. There is a stretch cotton sweatband which made the S/M feel very constricting to me, so I returned it and ordered the X/XL.

Tula Gardener Hat -
Gardener but not too gardener...practical but not too practical....feminine but not too feminine. All in all a great hat that my wife looks absolutely stunning in! And Altrec customer service were wonderful getting it to me on time.
