The most comfortable boots I've ever had. I was really happy that they were available in 1/2 sizes as a 71/2 is generally what I wear. They fit perfect. The only reason for the 4 stars (not 5) is that they are over priced. They are a quality boot but still a lot of money.

These boots were a gift from my husband for passing my certification exam. I love these boots and get the most compliments on them whenever I wear them. I suffered a broken back 11/87; therefore, I have to be careful what type shoes I buy. My UGG Adirondack boots do not make my back hurt. They are comfortable for all day wear, even shopping at the mall. You can not go wrong buying theses from Altrec either. They ship fast and keep you up-to-date on your purchase...

So far I don't have any complaints about my boots. My feet have not been cold yet (The longest that I've worn them out on a cold day is about 45 min), I am anxious to put them to the test for an extended period.

UGGs never disappoints and with these boots they didn't. The boots are stylish enough to wear out on errands while keeping your feet warm and dry! I bought these boots for my upcoming trip to CO. Even though we have not had substantial snow in MA, I have wore it on cold days and was pleased at how warm my feet were. These boots are meant to be worn with no socks or very thin socks, so they are true to size. But if you are those that want to wear thick socks with UGG boots, then I recommend you buy a half size bigger.

I recently became a freshman in college, moving from New Jersey to snowy Connecticut without a pair of snowboots to my name. In desperate search for a pair before this year of crazy snowstorms got any worse, I had my generic idea of my perfect pair of boots in mind: the warmth and fuzziness of an Ugg, but waterproof and taller than my ankles. Luckily, I was able to find a friend who this dream pair in my size, an 8. I tried them on and instantly knew I wanted a pair of my own. Loving my regular Ugg boots, I always wanted a pair that was safe for the snow, and these were it! I got them as a birthday present a month ago and couldn't wait to try them on. Tight to the fit at first because of the amount of fur, I instantly felt the heat the it privided and the great grip these boots have on the bottom; no more wet spots from falling on my butt while going to class!! Although it hasn't snowed yet since I've owned my pair of Uggs, I can not wait to break them out into the fresh powdery wet stuff on campus the next time it does! I would definitely recommend the Adirondack Tall Boots to anyone who loves their Uggs as much as I do and wishes to own a pair that is safe for the snow.

After looking at those boots for over two years I have finally purchased them for my fashionable teenager who is constantly cold. I wanted the boots to be waterproof but yet stylish. I accidentally stumbled on the altrec's website and decided to give the company a try. The price was excellent and the customer service was outstanding. The boots were shipped very fast and arrived promptly. The boots are totally awesome! Fit is perfect and the wool lining is super warm. They look very stylish as well. The teenager got to test the boots right away as we had a cold spell. Have not heard any complaints that the feet were cold, yet!!! I would totally recommend the website and the product.

I have super high arches and a bit of a supination problem, and for some reason Uggs are one of the few model shoes I can wear for hours at a time (the fur sort of crushes in under my arch and they tend to have a flexible sole). I bought these high boots mostly b/c I got them on a killer sale and I needed some warm shoes to wear on a ski trip to Colorado. They're just awesome. Warm, incredibly well made, and stylish. I read one review that discussed a problem with lacing them up - it does take a few extra seconds, but IMO it's totally worth the time taken. Your feet stay warm even when it's in the teens outside - I walked a couple of miles on snow and ice in mine and they held up great. They're going to be a bit warm for the weather here in Nashville, but I do go skiing a couple times per year and sometimes we get colder weather for a few weeks. I like these so much I ordered the lower-height kind also. Can't recommend them enough.

I have been looking for some tall (good looking) winter boots ever since I moved to Colorado. We can get over a foot of snow on many occasions so I wanted boots that were tall so I could walk down to the barn and take care of the horses; these boots fit the bill! I've read many of the reviews on this site and others, some say the boot runs small, I agree, there are no half sizes so go up a size, mine fits perfectly. I was worried that with all the lambs wool inside that they would run narrow but they weren't at all. I usually order wide, but it was not necessary, theres plenty of room. They are warm and toasty and I wore them all day and they felt great, no break-in needed. I found the best pricing, service on Altec.com.
