Love them
January 16, 2012
These run true to size for me. I wear 7 in all structured Ugg boots, and the 7 in these fits me perfectly, even with socks. There are a few things about these boots that I don't consider ideal, but I love them overall. Cons: Need to wear socks -- These are not completely lined in sheepskin fur -- it stops at the top of the ankle in the shaft and there's no fur on the top of the foot. There's way too much rubbing (ankles, achilles, and top of foot) without socks. Footbed -- The sheepskin footbed is not as plush as the footbeds in other styles of Uggs (thinner and less furry). Zipper on ankle -- there's a gusset on the bottom of the zipper that folds in. The gusset on the left boot is slightly larger than the one on the right boot, which causes it to wrinkle and poke my left ankle. Having worn the boots around for a week, it seems to be getting better. I think the shaft is stretching a bit. Pros: Look -- they look fantastic. I got the black and grey and I love them. The profile of the outer foot, and the whole boot for that matter, is very sleek (not cloddy at all). I like them so much that I'm even wearing them when it's not raining :) Lightweight -- Super lightweight and easy to walk in. Adjustable top -- I have muscular calves (about 15.5 inches bare). I can fit these boots over all kinds of pants no problem. So far the laces have stayed tied all day every day. These also look great with skirts. Comfortable -- very comfy, other than the left ankle thing, which is improving. Overall, I love them and highly recommend them!
