My only complaint is the cost, it is expensive. It wicks away the moisture and keeps you warm even after excessive sweating. The size is right on, I have broad shoulders and the large fits perfect.

Purchases this for my husband for Christmas...he loved it! It'll come in handy as the temperatures get lower (he has an outside job). Perfect fit right out of the package.

The only baselayer you should consider

I'd been looking all over for some baselayers to keep warm during the winter months and for my annual ski trips. I tried the standard 'long john's' and while they are very cheap and warm, the fabric was extremely itchy and just unbearable for anything over 5 minutes. I tried the Under Armour cold gear under a recommendation from a friend and it is absolutely the best decision i have made for keeping warm. It's super light and the 'fitted' version is snug enough to keep in contact with your skin (keeping you warm from ambient air temperatures) but not tight enough to be uncomfortable. The fabric they use in almost all their products dries very quickly after coming into contact with water/snow (if it happens to seep through your pants) even while wearing it so it doesn't retain a lot of water that will make you cold and miserable. The crew neck in this version is perfect for versatility as I've been able to wear it while snowboarding, sports, work and even under a dress shirt for outdoor formal events. It allows me to look professional without exposing the base layer that may potentially be against any uniform regulations you may have at your workplace. I'm approximately 5'9", 150 lbs, slim build and the small is spot on for me. And since it is a stretchable fabric, even if i bulk on another 10-15lbs, I'm sure the fit will still be comfortable.

I wore this shirt on a recent ski trip and found that I only had to wear it with my waterproof outer shell in order to keep me warm in 20-30 degree weather. Granted it was sunny and there was no wind chill but hey it's pretty warm for a base layer.

I've used this shirt for ski touring in the alps. It really wicks away moisture effectively and provides sufficient warmth that only a vest is needed over the top.

I purchased this piece for my boyfriend to wear skiing. I went up 1 size since it was fitted. The neck was too tight for him, however I am using it an love it. The fit is perfect for me and I have purchased a second one. It works well as a base layer and is very comfortable.

this is a great shirt to wear under sweatshirts, sweaters, and fleece jackets....it fits to size and is very comfortable...it arrived very fast too!

Bought this to prepare for the cold winter in Massachusetts and for cold winter workouts. The quality of the product is great and it fit very well, perfect to use as a baselayer or to use as winter training gear. This is tight-fitting so it might be a little difficult getting it on and off, but once it is on, it feels very snug, just make sure you get the right size.
