Ultra lightweight, but delicate
This stove is as light as a feather. But plan on bringing along some sort of wind screen to shield it from the breeze. We used this stove as a back-up on a recent 5-month bike tour, and one of the fold-away legs got bent. Alcohol stoves can be challenging, because they are either at full burn or off. It was hard to tell when the fuel runs out on this one -- it makes hardly any noise. And be careful with your pot when you stir the contents -- it will slip easily off the burner. It generally would require filling with fuel twice to boil a 2 quart pot of cold water at sea level. One fuel filling lasts about 20 minutes.
