The GORE-TEX® liner is both waterproof and breathable, keeping you comfortable on cool, damp days and hot, dry days. On the outside a combination of waterproof nubuck leather and breathable airmesh help to keep the feet dry and comfortable. From underneath, the Vasque Breeze Low XCR Hiking Shoe for women combines an engineered midsole, thermoplastic urethane torsion plate, and Vibram® Contact outsole into an integrated system that protects from sharp objects, fatigue, and soreness. The padded tongue and collar form a pillow of sorts around your ankle and instep, contributing to the first class treatment your feet receive as they traverse spectacular ridges and wind through shaded forests. The dual density EVA footbed offers additional cushioning and arch support. It's removable just in case you want to substitute it with your own orthotic or insole.
