I wanted something for a little warmer weather (had 40s with wet snow a couple weeks ago) and this jacket with a tshirt under was perfect. I wore it again on a windy day in the teens while the hill was blowing snow. I wore a layer of cold weather Under Armour, a medium thickness fleece, and a L/S tee and it was perfect and I stayed dry (even though the outside of the jacket was SOAKED). Also zips into my Volcom pants. Very happy with this purchase! I am 5'9" and 150lbs with long arms and am happy with the length of the jacket in the arms and the body. I usually need mittens that fit outside my arms opening of my jacket to make sure snow doesn't get in my jacket because my arms are so long. Didn't have a problem with this jacket. Arms go right to my wrist. Slim fit makes it easy to move and I like wearing it when I'm not on the slopes. Only complaint is that the suede lined collar isn't all that soft, so without anything under it, its not entirely comfortable.
