Fit true to size. I am used to my hiking pants being a very relaxed/loose fit, so these were a nice surprise, they fit like normal pants (which does limit what you can carry in the pockets). Good construction, the fabric is not super thick though, so not sure how long they will hold up. Got compliments over the holidays at how nice they looked, so you can get away with wearing these as casual khaki-type pants. One thing I would caution against, if you are like me with very muscular legs, these pants fit snug, so you will be limited on what you can put in the pockets without looking ridiculous. If you want a little more room, go up a size and you will have more room for stuff (obviously)! Great pants though, I am very happy.
