Recently while in Moab UT i saw the need for a shirt like this - blazing sun and heat requires some sun protection and it needs to be light fabric. Enter the Woolrich cross country shirt with long sleeves that can be buttoned up, vents for airflow, fairly light fabric, but best of all this shirt isn't cut for a guy with a beer belly - it is shaped for me :) At 6'2 and 195lbs (44chest 34 waist) the large fits me like it was tailored for me, not too tight but i don't swim in it like alot of shirts - just right. I can't say much as to durability yet it hasn't gotten alot of wear but will soon and i expect it will be great too. Discounted on Altrec this thing is a bargain, as good as any i looked at recently in the outdoor shops. What else can i say i am buying another one right now!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value
A Good Value

I've owned similar shirts by Ex Officio and decided to try a less expensive brand. I tested this shirt this past weekend on a backpacking trip in the Eastern Sierras where temperatures during the day were close to 70 and the sun was blazing. Overall I'm quite satisfied with how it performed. Sun protection felt effective and the fabric breathed well, even on an arduous climb to a high pass. I got a size medium which works for me 90% of the time (I'm 6' tall, weigh 180 and I have a long torso). The shirt feels just a tad short and overall the fit is a little snugger than I prefer but I'm not sure whether a size large would be too large. (If you're not sure about size I'd recommend getting the next size up.) As I expected the shirt took on a lot of dust from the trail as I wore it throughout the weekend, but it washed out thoroughly in the washing machine. It also dried quickly on the line. In summary, I think this is a good quality shirt and a good value for the dollar.Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
