Although the vest was a cool plaid fabric and appeared as if it would be very warm, it fit very large, I had to send back the x-small-so bulky and big! There was not a smaller size so I was unable to re-order.

Fit larger than I thought- really great vest but too big :( I usually wear a med/small but the small was too big.

I saw this vest and fell in love with it. It is warm and fuzzy inside and I wear it with everything. It is professional enough to wear to work, and comfy enough to wear with jeans. It goes great under my winter coat. Thank you for the wonderful price and the great service!!

Wonderful Vest For Winter

Woolrich makes wonderful clothing which is warm and quality made. I first saw this vest at another sportsman store in the discount area. I fell in love with it but they only had it in medium. I scanned the bar code with my cell phone and was shocked to see that the discounted price they had listed was significantly more than the cost at Altrec. It was more than double the cost. I ordered the vest from Altrec and since I got such a bargain, I ordered it in two colors. It does run very large though. I settled on a small since they no longer have the black and white plaid in XS. I love the vest though and highly recommend it. It is very warm and looks fabulous.

It's a great layer. I know when the temperature drops way below I will wear this vest under my winter coat for all my outdoor time. Now I wear it as a top layer over anything, I love it. It looks great , I like the longer length, just to the bottom of my hips. My favorite style detail is the wool back belt- very flattering. The inside is soft and the material is lovely. My only comment is the arm holes are a little too big for me, something in the sizing , otherwise it's perfect in every way. I will wear this vest a long time- worth the money!

I gave this vest as a gift and it was very well received. The young woman I gave it to loves to layer her clothing, and the small was roomy enough to go over a reasonably heavy sweater. (I originally ordered the medium but it was too big). The lining is super soft and the wool exterior is classic. Nice product.
