Great for the Ocean and sand.
Love these Reef Split Toe Boots. Used them in Hawaii walking in the ocean, walked on reef and the rocks. They were great for ever day wear while hanging out at the beach. They run small so becareful when ordering,, Customer service dept was excellent when working with me to get the right fit. Love working with this store because of their customer service dept.

Great product and great suppllier
Altrec initially did not have this in stock but notified me when it was, so I was able to take advantage of the discount they offered. They also shipped fast and free whe I added a another item.

I always surf in these booties
I like booties because I feel more confident when I try to boost. These 1 mm booties feel like I am barefoot and do not collect water. The holes on the sides and along the bottom of the arch allow me to pop up without feeling weighed down. I expect to see many people wearing 1 mm booties in all conditions in the near future. Altrec got me a great deal on these sweet little booties and shipped them to LA quicker than I expected. I love that these booties are 1 mm because I know what I'm talking about. Wear them at your local point, beachbreak, reef.

Great for Surfing
People in other reviews have complained about the boot being too thin -but it is as advertised. I bought these for my wife -the 1mm sole lets her really feel the board and the split toe is great for natural grip -plus we we enter the water its rocky and it gives her just the right amount of protection. The real plus though is the company -my wife and were leaving on a Tuesday. I ordered on a Friday and the cust. svc. rep. went out of his way to follow up on my order to make sure it shipped the same day I ordered so I would get the shipment in time for our trip - unusually excellent service!

Good Ankle Boot
I was looking for another beach walking shoe that would work & not slide around on your foot if you wade the surf...the split toe is the answer. These are great, only thing they should change is to be 3mm, not 1mm.

Beach Bum Wear
Works great, runs a little small, wish they were 3mm. They cinch up well, you will not loose one or "throw a shoe".
