A must have if you carry a boat on the bars.

These little end caps saved a kayak from flying off the roof of my car! The front strap had developed some slack in it and the wind tried to pull the nose of the boat over to the side and the little "hook" on the end of this cap kept the strap from coming off the end of the cross-bar! It held for 3 hours like that all the way home!! Worth every cent!!
