The Yaktrax's are always on my walking shoes! Then I have no excuses for not being prepared for the snow on the roads. I even brought a pair for my husband, now he doesn't have an excuse if the roads are covered with snow!

Great traction on ice covered sidewalks and streets. The kind of surfaces that are impossible with rubber or leather soles. Buy these for your parents and grandparents. One caveat: Do not wear indoors on smooth tile floors- they will slip - but thy grip very well on glaze ice outdoors.

I was introduced to Yaktrax by my son while he worked as a ski instructor for Smugglers' Notch Ski Resort in Vermont. Their resort gives a pair to all their employees for safety during the winter. They are the greatest idea I have found in a long time. My pair is 2 years old and still look like they did when they were purchased over two years ago; and I wear them quite often during the icy winters here in Pennsylvania. I highly recommend them for anyone who needs to walk on icy terrain. They work perfectly whether used on hard packed snow or boiler plate ice.

These Yaktrax have a custom fit to all of my shoes due to the high quality rubber used in the product. They stay on tight and work very well in keeping me from slipping in hard pack snow and ice. They are especially nice to have when verglas conditions set in and you don't know if you're stepping onto ice or dry pavement. Yaktrax uses high quality materials that hold up to prolonged use even when walking on dry asphalt or concrete. I bought a pair for myself and my wife, who uses them for running. I highly recommend this product.

I live in upstate NY, snow country! I walk my dogs, rain or shine 7/365. These work the best. I've "sold" all my neighbors on them, and tell tales of their greatness wherever I go ;). Seriously the only thing you have to be cautious with them on is dry pavement, or walking across your kitchen flooring (I'd highly suggest against that, trust me...) . If you take too liberal of a step when there isn't anything to grip onto, you will go down. However, on icy, slushy, icky pavement, sidewalks, or even trails they can't be beat.

loving my new Yaktrax pro - want to run through the winter but variable conditions make it slippery in spots. These are perfect as they are comfy on dry pavement if I encounter a spot, and provide great traction in ice/snow/slush and whatever is left on the road in New England in the winter. Love these and highly recommend.

Bought these for my active parents to use when the trails get slick. They also use them for around town. Not the most durable but they are compact and easy to put on. Extra strap on forefoot helps keep them in place.
