Well made boot, but too stiff
This is a well made, boot, with good tread. The only problem I had, was that it was too stiff for my feet. This boot is basically, in between a general hiking boot, and a mountaineering boot. If you have no problems with stiff boots, then this would be a great boot. Have not tested it in water, but the construction and materials seem to be well suited to being waterproof.
Size seems to be right.

310 Skill GT
I was surprised at the quality and like a well made boots- it will need some break in time. The shipping time was quick and I am very pleased so far! I am looking forward to using them in the field.

zamberlan 310 skill gt
I was unfamiliar with Zamberlan Hiking boots until I came across an article in Overland Magazine. The writer stated he had reviewed over two hundred day lightweight hikers and this boot was the most comfortable right out of the box he ever tested. I have a difficult foot to fit and decided to take the leap and order a pair fully expecting that they would come up short in some department and would be promptly returned. Was I surprised. These are exceptionally well made and comfortable boots. So much so that when my cardiologist called to inform me I needed to have a repeat exercise stress test and I should bring comfortable shoes to the procedure I went to the test with my new boots and passed the test with flying colors!! I've only had them a few weeks so can't address longevity but these boots just look and feel to be of the highest quality. Highly recommended.

Perfect Match!
If there is a 'perfect match' for my particular foot structure this is it! Have tried Asolo's, Danner's, etc. before trying this particular boot manufacturer. Boot fit great right out of the box. Fits snug in my forefoot, and heel, with nice room in the toe box area. I have normal arches with a normal width - D, but have what I would call a low profile foot with thinner ankles. I am 6 feet tall at around 200lbs. with a foot size of 11.5 - 12 depending on the shoe or boot. All other boots I have tried in the past would fit ok in the length but their 'D' was too sloppy for me usually. plus the boots always seemed like they were made for someone with a much 'fatter or taller' foot and/or larger lower leg/ankle area. In other words the boots had way too much volume for my particular foot structure. These Zamberlans fit like they were made just for me. Lower volume boot, more snug heel area, and excellent fitting forefoot. Boot is made extremely well, and still made in its home country, Italy. Couldn't ask for a better fitting boot!

Just plain excellent!!!
I wanted to wait till I came back from my little short trip to the Grand Canyon to review these hiking boots. They provided me with a lot of comfort and excellent traction, I highly recommend these boots specially if you hike rough terrains.

Great boot
I was looking to replace my Sundowners which I have been wearing for years. Picked up the 310 Skill GTs and could not be happier. Fit is true to size and very comfortable and sturdy. Although I haven't had a chance to get out on the trails yet, I have worn them almost everyday in the office and have been impressed with feel. Reasonably light and good arch support, I should have bought these sooner.

great quality and comfort
My job require me to walk 8 hours a day and five days a week. This boot is really comfortable to wear and prevent the rain water to get inside the boots. I often had to walk over mud and rocks, and the boots had been really good with such terrain. Even though this boots is expensive, it is worth every penny.

Near perfect
Almost instant fit, these boots are soft where it counts, and hard where it counts.
