Most comfortable boots ever
January 30, 2013
These are by far the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. They fit like a glove right out of the box. They have a comfortable, spacious toe box and a secure, stable heel cup. These are high-quality boots with high-quality materials that do not absorb odor. Even after weeks on the Appalachian Trail my feet never smelled bad! Unlike other boots I've worn, even though they're waterproof they're still super breathable. My feet stay cool and dry even hiking in southern Arizona. The Vibram soles are so sticky that I've literally risked my life on steep inclines in these boots and never broke a sweat. I trust these boots unconditionally. I have about 500 rugged trail miles on these boots so far and they're still going strong (I've changed the insoles a couple times). One minor grumble: I wish they had a toe bumper because I've shredded the toes of these boots. It's more of a cosmetic issue, though, because it hasn't affected the performance or waterproofing. This is a ridiculously comfortable hiking/backpacking boot.
