Best Goggles
December 26, 2012

I've owned quite a few pairs of goggles and these are easily the best. They're a little big on my face but that allows for much better peripheral vision. So comfortable I forget I've got them on and the photochromatic lenses make them work in any light conditions. Highly recommend.

1st impression: great looks/massive strap
November 26, 2012

Just received these, but haven't worn them on the mtn. Just want to tell people the Eclipse frame is for a large face/head, but will fit a medium (like mine). The strap is definitely for a large-extra large head (or massive helmet)...it's literally almost 25" long! I had to remove the sewn-on patches just to get the strap to adjust to my head. As far as looks, the Eclipse are just as cool looking when wearing them as they are in the website photos. They have a similar look to the Smith I/O, but are sleeker and slightly larger (not "astronaut huge" like the I/OX or EG2). Also unlike the EG2 and other trendy goggles, the Eclipse face foam is closer to standard thickness, so it doesn't push the goggle way out from your face. The lenses are removable, but not quite as fast as the I/O (just hope they don't fog between the lenses like the I/O). I got the "surplus fatigue" colorway and it's a much more dull olive drab in person than the brighter green in the website photos.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, fast lens change system, great looks, Cons: strap way too long

Fogging
February 25, 2013

I got these goggles and was disapointed at first that the lens was not mirrored as they appeared in the pictures. After that initial surprise I really liked these goggles, the design was really sleek durable and felt good on my face. Other than the fact that the strap is outragously long I was pleased. After several days in various conditions they never fogged. However, after I had a yard sale on a pow day I had fog between the lenses showing up a few hours later. A full day of them drying out in my room, I used them again and almost right away they formed fog between lenses again. I would take them off my head for a few minutes and they would clear but once back on it was the same deal. Frustrated because for the price of these I feel I shouldnt have this problem.

Terrible Product Broke after First Day
March 13, 2013

These goggles broke on me after I used them 1 DAY!!! The inner lens of the goggle broke right down the middle. In addition, The outer lens was popping out on both sides. I am truly disappointed on this product, and will not purchase from the site again. I had to reach out to the manufacturer directly to get it fixed. In the end, I had to spend $20 roughly to get them fixed (fingers crossed they do since these goggles are super expensive), and was provided no refund on the product if I wanted too since I wore them ONCE. Do NOT buy this product, not worth the $$$.

Cons: Wears quickly, Cost, Bad design, Low performance, Poor quality
